Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.\nPosition Overview:\nAs a Demand Planning Analyst, you will play a central role in developing and aligning the demand plan for the Polaris Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) product line. You will build accurate retail, ship, and industry forecasts that guide critical production, inventory, and business decisions. Using a blend of statistical tools, market insights, and cross-functional input, you will shape forecasts that support both near-term execution and longer-term planning. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and data integrity. This position offers the opportunity to influence high-visibility decisions and contribute meaningfully to business performance through analytical leadership.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the monthly Demand Review process to drive cross-functional alignment on the 18-month ORV demand plan.\nDevelop accurate retail and industry forecasts using trend analysis, Blue Yonder statistical models, competitive insights, promotional inputs, and leadership guidance.\nAnalyze, consolidate, and execute product line, segment, and marketing name forecasts.\nIntegrate dealer profiles, order forecasts, and inventory targets to build the ship plan.\nCommunicate global ship demand plans to scheduling and manufacturing teams to support production requirements.\nPresent industry, retail, and ship forecasts-along with risks and opportunities-to ORV leadership.\nLead the cross-functional Portfolio Review to align on product, price, mix, and volume strategies.\nRecommend and implement continuous improvements to ORV demand planning processes to enhance clarity, efficiency, and data quality.\nApply sound judgment and influencing skills to support ORV management decision-making.\nCollaborate with teammates to optimize demand plans and forecast accuracy.\nProvide ongoing data and analysis to partners, including retail, order, and ship forecasts; dealer inventory; and days stock on hand (DSO).\nDesired Competencies:\nData & Analytical Literacy: You interpret data, metrics, or reporting to inform decisions, identify trends, and measure outcomes relevant to your role.\nCritical Thinking: You analyze information objectively, evaluate options, and apply sound judgment to solve problems and make informed decisions.\nAgility: You quickly evaluate shifting circumstances, pivot direction when needed, and proactively generate multiple options or mitigation strategies to keep work moving forward.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.\nMinimum 3 years of experience in business analytics.\nExperience in demand planning or forecasting preferred.\nDemonstrated ability to develop data-driven plans and recommendations that influence business leaders.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel.\nAbility to work effectively independently and cross-functionally.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nExperience with Power BI and Alteryx preferred.\nAbility to travel up to approximately 10%.\nThis position is not eligible for sponsorship.\nThe starting pay range for Minnesota is $69,000 to $90,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
