Working across multiple product teams and business units, you will design and maintain CI/CD capabilities that move applications through development, staging, and production environments in Azure and AWS. The role combines product-team delivery with infrastructure operations, with approximately 70% of your time focused on product initiatives and 30% on platform stability, maintenance, upgrades, and patching. Serving as an infrastructure contact for assigned product teams, you’ll have meaningful ownership across a variety of platforms, modernization efforts, and mission-critical business systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, implement, maintain, and reuse CI/CD pipelines and templates that support application delivery across development, staging, and production environments.\nPartner with development, application, database, QA, operations, product, and business teams to design, implement, test, and support mission-critical business systems.\nCoordinate application and artifact releases across Azure and AWS cloud environments while supporting multiple product teams and business units.\nDevelop and maintain automation scripts for application deployment, scaling, monitoring, and other operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce hosting costs.\nAdminister and maintain on-premises and cloud-based application infrastructure, including web servers, SaaS, PaaS, and cloud services supporting the software development lifecycle.\nMaintain stable and resilient infrastructure by completing upgrades, patches, and other operational activities.\nConfigure and manage monitoring and logging solutions to support the health, reliability, and performance of applications and infrastructure.\nApply infrastructure modernization practices, including updated Azure policies, authentication approaches, infrastructure as code, and Terraform-based deployments.\nImplement security best practices and support compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations.\nAssess complex projects, prioritize competing requirements, develop accurate time estimates, complete work on schedule, and communicate changes and status updates to stakeholders.\nEvaluate evolving infrastructure and application-deployment technologies and apply relevant practices to supported environments.\nProvide remote support for global operations and participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting a 24/7 global environment.\nDesired Competencies:\nTechnical / Functional Expertise: You apply the required technical or professional knowledge to perform your role effectively and stay current within your area of expertise.\nCollaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.\nProblem Solving: You identify issues, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Terraform.\n4+ years of experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, with experience managing Azure services such as API Management, App Service, Function Apps, Service Bus, and Storage Accounts preferred.\nExperience applying infrastructure-as-code practices to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.\nExperience creating and maintaining deployment pipelines and coordinating application or artifact releases across cloud environments.\nExperience working with international teams, supporting multiple business units, and engaging stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivery.\nKnowledge of application server administration, including Microsoft Internet Information Services.\nProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell is preferred.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, written and verbal communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently.\nAbility to provide remote support for global operations and participate in a rotating on-call schedule supporting a 24/7 environment.\nMust reside in the US.\n#LI-RAO #REMOTE\nTo qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.\nWe are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE.Apply today!\nAt Polaris we put our employees first, by offering a holistic approach to their health and financial wellbeing.
