development and deployment of Geo-information Management Systems.\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\n Conduct land, topographical, boundary, engineering, and construction surveys as required.\r\n Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates.\r\n Carry out site measurements, levelling, setting-out, and alignment activities.\r\n Prepare survey drawings, maps, plans, reports, and other technical documentation.\r\n Use surveying instruments and equipment, including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, levels, and other relevant tools.\r\n Interpret architectural, engineering, and construction drawings to support project execution.\r\n Monitor construction activities to ensure that structures, roads, foundations, and other project components are positioned according to approved designs.\r\n Collect, process, analyse, and interpret field survey data.\r\n Identify and report discrepancies between approved drawings and actual site conditions.\r\n Liaise with engineers, architects, contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.\r\n Ensure surveying equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and secured.\r\n Maintain accurate records of survey activities, measurements, and technical findings.\r\n Ensure compliance with applicable surveying regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.\r\n Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.\r\n\nEducational Qualifications and Experience\r\n\n Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Surveying and Geoinformatics, Geomatics, or a related discipline.\r\n Minimum of 2 - 5 years of relevant professional experience.\r\n Professional registration or membership with relevant surveying bodies (e.g., SURCON) will be an added advantage.\r\n Experience in construction, infrastructure, land development, or engineering projects is desirable.\r\n\nRequired Technical Skills and Competencies\r\n\n Proficiency in the use of Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, and automatic levels.\r\n Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS software, and relevant surveying applications.\r\n Strong understanding of topographical surveying, mapping, and terrain modelling.\r\n Strong understanding of surveying principles, coordinate systems, levelling, and setting-out techniques.\r\n Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings.\r\n Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\r\n Good technical report writing and documentation skills.\r\n Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\r\n Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.\r\n Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.\r\n\nKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)\r\n\n Accuracy and reliability of survey measurements and reports.\r\n Timeliness of survey assignments and deliverables.\r\n Accuracy of construction setting-out and alignment activities.\r\n Compliance with project specifications and technical standards.\r\n Proper maintenance and utilisation of surveying equipment.\r\n Timely identification and reporting of site discrepancies.\r\n Quality and completeness of survey documentation.\r\n Compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.\r\n\nWorking Conditions\r\n\n The role involves both fieldwork and office-based activities.\r\n Frequent visits to construction sites and project locations may be required.\r\n The successful candidate must be willing to work outdoors and travel to project sites when
