You will apply the Polaris Development Process (PDP), Polaris Production System (PPS), and Lean principles to support new product introductions, manufacturing process development, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, Sales, and suppliers to develop manufacturable, cost-effective solutions and resolve technical and operational challenges. This role provides an opportunity to influence both product and manufacturing outcomes through cross-functional leadership, technical problem solving, and process improvement.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead cross-functional product development and manufacturing engineering programs from concept through production, with accountability for schedule, cost, quality, performance, reliability, and overall program success.\nDirect programs and projects using the Polaris Development Process (PDP) and Polaris Production System (PPS), ensuring requirements, deliverables, milestones, and business objectives are achieved.\nManage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and team assignments while coordinating issue resolution across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and suppliers.\nProvide technical leadership in troubleshooting manufacturing and product issues, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and developing sustainable solutions for production and field concerns.\nPartner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to develop manufacturable, cost-effective product and process solutions, including new product features, technologies, and improved manufacturing methods.\nDrive manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement through process optimization, technology implementation, structured problem solving, and Lean principles.\nCommunicate program status, risks, resource needs, technical recommendations, and key decisions to leadership and stakeholders.\nSupport documentation, training, and successful implementation of new products and manufacturing processes.\nDesired Competencies:\nLeadership: You inspire, guide, and empower others to achieve their best by setting clear direction, fostering trust, and creating an environment where people feel supported, motivated, and accountable for delivering results.\nCollaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.\nProblem Solving: You identify issues, assess root causes, and implement practical solutions that balance speed, quality, and risk.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering.\nMinimum of 2 years of program leadership or engineering project/design leadership experience in a similar industry.\nDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence others and build effective working relationships with managers, leaders, staff, and cross-functional partners.\nStrong project planning, organization, and administrative skills, including an understanding of how program objectives, tools, and resources relate across functions.\nDemonstrated ability to make decisions and take action while maintaining a focus on quality and customer needs.\nAbility to work effectively under pressure.\nRiding experience and/or interest in recreational vehicles.\nThis position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.\nTo qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.\nWe are an ambitious, resourceful, and driven workforce, which empowers us to THINK OUTSIDE.Apply today!\nAt Polaris we put our employees first, by offering a holistic approach to their health and financial wellbeing.
