{"id":3457505,"url":"https://alion.io/job/polo-finance-systems-analyst","title":"Finance Systems Analyst","company":{"id":2581657,"name":"Polo","domain":"polo.works","url":"https://alion.io/company/polo-works","size_band":"201-500","is_staffing_agency":false,"employer_type":"direct","is_intermediary":false,"listed_via":null,"ats_vendor":"Pinpoint","truth_index":null},"role":"Analytics","role_family":"Analytics","seniority":null,"employment_type":"full_time","work_mode":"hybrid","remote_scope":null,"remote_scope_basis":null,"remote_working_hours":null,"hiring_geo_confidence":"structured","locations":["Cheltenham, United Kingdom"],"countries":["GB"],"hiring_countries":[],"hiring_countries_total":0,"salary":{"min":35000,"max":45000,"currency":"GBP","period":"year","gross":null,"usd_annual":59890},"salary_estimate":null,"experience_years_min":null,"visa_sponsorship":false,"relocation_package":false,"has_equity":false,"technologies":[{"name":"Master Data Management","optional":false}],"status":"live","first_seen_at":"2026-10-28T12:47:12Z","employer_posted_date":"2026-10-28","last_verified_at":"2026-11-01T01:57:28Z","board_verified":true,"closed_at":null,"days_open":3,"trust":{"level":"ok","repost_count":null,"flags":[],"days_open":3},"description":"The Finance Systems Analyst at PoloWorks is responsible for the administration, governance and ongoing development of the company’s finance system, Sage Intacct.\n\nThis role ensures system integrity, appropriate user access, accurate financial data and efficient workflows, while acting as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for finance system users across the business.\nKey Responsibilities\n User Access & Security Management\nSet up new finance employees as business users within finance systems.\nSet up new employees as timesheet users and manage timesheet approvers.\nProcess access change requests and maintain appropriate system permissions.\nPerform quarterly access reviews to ensure compliance with internal controls.\nConduct segregation of duties (SoD) reviews and maintain related controls.\nSystem Administration\nAdminister and maintain:\nTimesheet codes\nSales invoice set-up and amendments\nGeneral Ledger (GL) account set-up and changes\nBank detail input and updates\nDimensions and custom field changes\nSmart events and system triggers\nStatement of Work (SoW) codes and employee access\nMaster Data Management\nSet up and maintain new customer records.\nSet up and maintain new supplier records.\nSupport the set-up and onboarding of new legal entities.\nWorkflow & Period-End Management\nManage and maintain finance system workflows.\nSupport the closing of financial periods within the system.\nInput month-end exchange rates and obtain Group approval for posting.\nReporting & Development\nDeliver ad hoc system development and configuration enhancements.\nDevelop, maintain and improve system reports to support finance and business requirements.\n\nTraining & Support\nProvide system training and onboarding for new users.\nAct as the finance systems subject matter expert, providing ongoing user support and guidance.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nExperience working with finance or ERP systems (e.g. timesheet, invoicing and General Ledger platforms).\nStrong understanding of finance processes and internal controls.\nKnowledge of user access management, segregation of duties and audit requirements.\nExperience in report development and system configuration.\nHigh attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively with Finance, IT and wider business stakeholders.\nHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nProactive, reliable and solutions-focused.\nStrong communication and training skills.\nA finance qualification is desirable but not essential.\n\nDemonstrates behaviours aligned to the PoloWorks PRIDE values:\nPioneering -
