You'll play a critical role in minimizing downtime, ensuring equipment readiness, and supporting safe, efficient, and compliant operations.\nWhat You'll Do\nEquipment Maintenance & Reliability\nOversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and laboratory instrumentation.\n\nCoordinate troubleshooting, repairs, inspections, and servicing to minimize equipment downtime and maintain operational readiness.\n\nDevelop and maintain equipment maintenance schedules, work orders, service records, and equipment histories.\n\nIdentify recurring equipment issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.\n\nManage critical spare parts inventory and coordinate the procurement of maintenance supplies and replacement components.\n\nLeadership & Collaboration\nSupervise and coordinate maintenance personnel to ensure timely, safe, and effective equipment support.\n\nManage relationships with external equipment vendors, contractors, and service providers.\n\nPartner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Facilities teams to prioritize maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.\n\nCoordinate equipment upgrades, repairs, and replacements to support operational efficiency, reliability, and production capacity.\n\nSafety, Quality & Compliance\nEnsure maintenance activities are performed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance documentation and ensure equipment is appropriately released for use following servicing.\n\nSupport equipment qualification, validation, change control, deviations, and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes.\n\nPromote safe work practices, including electrical safety, lockout/tagout procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, reliability, instrumentation, engineering support, or technical operations.\n\nAt least 2 years of supervisory, team leadership, or maintenance coordination experience.\n\nExperience supporting equipment in a regulated manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty chemical, or life sciences environment.\n\nHands-on experience with both manufacturing equipment and laboratory instrumentation.\n\nStrong mechanical and electromechanical troubleshooting skills, including working knowledge of pumps, motors, process equipment, electrical controls, pneumatics, and instrumentation.\n\nExperience with preventive maintenance programs, calibration coordination, and equipment maintenance documentation.\n\nFamiliarity with equipment qualification, validation, change control, deviations, and CAPA.\n\nExperience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), ERP systems such as SAP, and Microsoft Office.\n\nExperience coordinating equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers.\n\nAbility to interpret technical manuals, equipment specifications, service reports, and engineering documentation.\n\nKnowledge of applicable electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout, and equipment-specific safety procedures.\n\nStrong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field.\n\nSix Sigma Green Belt or OSHA 30 certification.\n\nUnderstanding of GMP, GLP, ISO quality systems, or other regulated manufacturing requirements.\n\nExperience working in ISO cleanroom environments.\n\nExperience supporting medical device manufacturing.\n\nFamiliarity with CAD or similar technical design software.\n\nWork Environment\nThis position involves working in active manufacturing and laboratory environments where exposure to chemicals, fumes, noise, and elevated work areas may occur.
