Working alongside experienced analysts, you will gain valuable experience with analytical instrumentation, quality systems, and regulated manufacturing processes while supporting production and commercial product release.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an early-career scientist who enjoys laboratory work, problem-solving, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform routine analytical testing of incoming raw materials, in-process samples, intermediate products, and finished products in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.\n\nOperate a variety of analytical laboratory instruments, including pH meters, conductivity meters, Karl Fischer titrators, Total Organic Carbon (TOC) analyzers, turbidimeters, Gas Chromatography (GC-FID/MS), Atomic Absorption (AA) instruments, balances, and volumetric glassware.\n\nAnalyze, document, and maintain accurate laboratory testing results in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and data integrity requirements.\n\nSupport investigations of Out-of-Specification (OOS) results by promptly reporting findings and assisting with documentation and data collection.\n\nPerform routine instrument verification, calibration checks, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.\n\nCollaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Planning teams to support manufacturing schedules and timely product release.\n\nAssist with the review and revision of laboratory procedures, analytical methods, and testing documentation.\n\nSupport laboratory inventory management and ensure adequate availability of testing supplies.\n\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment following 5S principles.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency, quality, and compliance.\n\nFollow established laboratory procedures and quality standards, including applicable FDA GMP and ISO 13485 requirements.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.\n\nKnowledge of analytical laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and data analysis.\n\nStrong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and documentation.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe applications.\n\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to follow established procedures, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a team-oriented laboratory environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAt least one year of laboratory experience in an ISO 13485 or FDA GMP-regulated environment.\n\nExperience with GMP documentation practices, laboratory data integrity, and quality control testing.\n\nFamiliarity with analytical software such as OpenLab, ChemStation, or Empower.\n\nKnowledge of compendial testing methods and standards, including USP, EP, ISO, and ASTM.\n\nExperience with analytical instrumentation such as GC, Karl Fischer titration, TOC, or Atomic Absorption.\n\nWhy Join Polysciences?\nAt Polysciences, you'll have the opportunity to build your technical expertise while contributing to the quality of products used across a variety of scientific and industrial applications.
