This individual must be capable of making an immediate impact in a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment.\nScope & Responsibilities\nFinancial Planning & Analysis\nLead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes\nDevelop and maintain driver-based financial models, which support scenario analyses, sensitivities and what-if scenarios\nPerform variance and root cause analysis and pro-actively identify business risks and opportunities\nOwn BU cash flow forecasting and working capital analysis\nPrepare executive-level financial reporting and presentations\nSupport monthly business reviews with senior leadership\nStrategic Business Partnership\nAct as the primary finance partner to operations, commercial, and functional leaders\nTranslate complex financial and operational data into actionable business recommendations\nSupport pricing, margin improvement, productivity, and cost-reduction initiatives\nFacilitate KPI development and performance management processes\nOperational Excellence & Growth\nEvaluate operational improvement opportunities and oversee implementation tracking\nAnalyze capital investments, including ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback calculations\nSupport acquisition analysis, diligence activities, and integration initiatives\nIdentify opportunities for organic growth through data-driven business analysis\nData & Systems Leadership\nServe as the finance systems and data subject matter expert\nDrive reporting automation and business intelligence improvements\nEnsure data integrity across financial and operational reporting\nTeam Leadership & Talent Development\nBuild and lead an FP&A team that is fit for purpose as organizational needs expand\nRecruit, coach, mentor, and develop future analysts\nEstablish FP&A processes, controls, and best practices\nFoster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership\nRequired Qualifications\n1. Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting\n2. 7-10+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or finance business partner experience\n3. Prior people leadership experience\n4. Demonstrated experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, mining, building products, or related operations; familiar with standard costing and inventory accounting concepts, and manufacturing KPI analysis\n5. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.\n6. Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills\n7. Experience leading cross-functional projects and influencing senior leaders\n8. Demonstrated ability to challenge assumptions and influence business decisions through data and insight\n9. Strong presentation and executive communication skills\n10. Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency\n11.
