The ideal candidate is passionate about quality, has a strong understanding of QA processes, and is comfortable working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure reliable, high quality releases..\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Planning and Strategy\nAnalyze requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify test scenarios and edge cases.\n\nPrepare and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test checklists for new and existing features.\n\nManual Testing\nExecute functional, regression, integration, and system tests for web and mobile applications.\n\nValidate UI, UX, and cross browser behavior to ensure consistency and usability.\n\nPerform exploratory testing to uncover hidden issues and improve product robustness.\n\nAutomation and Tools\nDesign and maintain automated test scripts for critical user flows using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.\n\nContribute to building and improving the test automation framework, including test data, reporting, and CI integration.\n\nDefect Management\nLog clear, reproducible defects with proper steps, screenshots, and logs in tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar.\n\nWork closely with developers to clarify issues, retest fixes, and ensure timely closure of defects.\n\nAPI and Backend Validation\nTest RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or similar, validating responses, error handling, and performance.\n\nVerify data integrity and business rules with the help of database queries when needed.\n\nPerformance and Reliability Checks\nSupport basic performance and load testing activities by designing scenarios and using appropriate tools where applicable.\n\nMonitor and validate application stability across releases.\n\nProcess and Documentation\nContribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices across the team.\n\nMaintain clear test documentation, release notes, and QA sign off reports for each release.\n\nCollaboration and Communication\nWork closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and DevOps to ensure shared understanding of quality goals.\n\nParticipate in daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an agile team\n\n Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 2 years of professional experience in software QA or testing for web or mobile applications.\n\nStrong understanding of software testing concepts such as test planning, test design, regression testing, smoke testing, and UAT.\n\nHands on experience in writing and executing test cases, logging defects, and working within an agile or scrum environment.\n\nFamiliarity with at least one test management or issue tracking tool such as Jira, ClickUp, TestRail, or similar.\n\nBasic to intermediate experience with test automation frameworks or tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium is a strong plus.\n\nGood understanding of REST APIs and experience using tools like Postman or similar for API testing.\n\nAbility to write basic SQL queries to validate data and support backend testing.\n\nExperience with CI or CD tools, pipelines, and integrating automated tests into the build process will be considered an advantage.\n\nStrong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a structured approach to problem solving.\n\nGood communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience testing both B2B, B2C and MFS products.\n\nExperience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or similar.\n\n Why Join Polygon Technology?\nBe part of a fast-growing tech company delivering data-driven solutions\nWork with cutting-edge technologies and mission-critical systems\nCollaborate with a skilled and experienced engineering team\nCompetitive salary and growth-oriented environment\nAcross Bangladesh (on-site required)\nOther Information\nSalary Range: As per company policy\nEmployment Type: Full Time\nRoutine: Sunday -
