This role serves as the primary owner of commercial insights, ad hoc analytics, KPI governance, and reporting strategy, transforming data into actionable recommendations that drive business performance.\nReporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, this position partners closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Market Access to identify opportunities, evaluate performance, and support strategic decision-making.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, stakeholder management, and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.\nThe base compensation range for this role is $160-170K. Base Compensation is influenced by many factors including, but not limited to: time in the role, previous experience, skills, knowledge, performance, work requirements, internal equity, and business / economic conditions.\nSummary of Key Responsibilities\nCommercial Analytics Leadership\nLead the development and execution of commercial analytics initiatives supporting brand performance and business objectives.\nServe as the primary point of contact for analytical support across Sales, Marketing, Marketing, Market Access, and Executive Leadership.\nDevelop actionable insights and recommendations to improve commercial effectiveness.\nIdentify emerging business trends, opportunities, and risks through proactive analysis.\nFacilitate data-driven decision making throughout the organization.\nStrategic Insights & Decision Support\nDesign and execute analyses to support:Product launches\nBrand strategy\nSales force effectiveness.\nTerritory optimization\nCustomer targeting and segmentation.\nPromotional response measurement\nMarket opportunity assessments\n\nPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership.\nTranslate business questions into analytical frameworks and measurable outcomes.\nAnalytics Portfolio Management\nOwn intake, prioritization, and execution of analytics requests.\nEstablish processes to evaluate business impact and resource requirements.\nBalance strategic initiatives with tactical business support.\nEnsure timely delivery of high-quality analyses and recommendations.\nReporting & KPI Governance\nPartner with Sales Operations and BI resources to define and maintain commercial KPIs.\nEnsure consistency and integrity of metrics across reporting platforms.\nDrive enhancements to dashboards and executive reporting solutions.\nPromote adoption and utilization of analytics tools and reporting assets.\nRequired Qualifications and Skills\n· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field.\n· 5-8+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, sales analytics, or related function.\n· Experience supporting pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or life sciences organizations.\n· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n· Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.\n· Knowledge of pharma data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, specialty pharmacy, claims, and CRM data.\n· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.\n· Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and reliability in outputs.\n· Collaborative mindset with experience partnering
