This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you’ll produce and support commercial products used across our diverse portfolio.\nThis opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, following detailed processes, solving problems, and being part of a team. Previous chemical manufacturing experience is helpful. This position is a 7 day/12 hour rotating shift with the hours being 5:30 pm-5:30 am.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Manufacturing Technician I, you will:\nPerform synthesis and blending batches according to the weekly production schedule.\nLearn and follow established manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions.\nWork with other operational teams to troubleshoot equipment and technical issues.\nAccurately complete batch records and other required documentation in accordance with company quality standards.\nPerform routine departmental activities and preventive maintenance according to established procedures.\nAssist with investigations involving production deviations or non-conformances and support corrective actions.\nSupport the introduction and transfer of new products into manufacturing alongside Engineering and Validation teams.\nFollow all safety procedures, protocols, and 5S workplace standards.\nImmediately report safety concerns, near misses, or incidents and assist with investigations when needed.\nMaintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting material usage, consumables, and waste.\nCommunicate production updates, issues, and concerns clearly with coworkers and management.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nRequired:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nBasic understanding of high school-level science and mathematics.\nAbility to read and follow technical documents, procedures, and instructions.\nStrong attention to detail and documentation skills.\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a team.\nGood problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.\nCommitment to workplace safety and product quality.\nPreferred:\nPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, chemical processing, or a related environment.\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nExperience working with ERP or electronic maintenance systems.\nExposure to chemical manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated manufacturing environments.\nWhy Polysciences?\nPolysciences develops and manufactures specialty chemicals and laboratory products that support customers across the life sciences, bioprocessing, medical device, diagnostics, and specialty chemical industries.\nYou’ll join a collaborative manufacturing environment where safety, quality, continuous improvement, and learning are part of how we work every day.
