Do you enjoy translating complex technical challenges into practical, efficient and high-quality solutions?\nFor our BMO team, we are looking for a Project Engineer - BMO to strengthen our teams in Belgium (Tienen and Beringen).\nAs a Project Engineer - BMO at Polytek, you are responsible for the technical coordination and execution of projects, ensuring that engineering solutions meet client expectations, quality standards and project requirements.\nYou play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from analysing client requirements and developing technical solutions to coordinating deliverables and supporting project execution.\nYou work closely with Project Managers, Designers, BIM Modelers, other engineering disciplines and clients. You ensure that technical activities are properly coordinated, deadlines are respected and deliverables meet the required quality standards.\nWith your technical expertise, organisational skills and solution-oriented mindset, you help us get things right from the start.\nWhat you will do:\nAnalyse stakeholder and client requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions that meet project objectives.\n\nParticipate in internal and external project kick-off meetings and ensure all necessary technical information is available to the project team.\n\nReview project proposals, specifications and requirements to ensure a clear understanding of the project scope.\n\nTake responsibility for the technical coordination and follow-up of multidisciplinary projects.\n\nIndependently manage smaller projects, including planning, budgets, resources, quotations and technical specifications.\n\nSupport Project Managers on larger projects by contributing to project planning, budgeting, resource allocation and technical coordination.\n\nOversee and coordinate technical activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, sustainability requirements and applicable regulations, including relevant EU standards.\n\nPrepare, review and finalise technical documentation and project deliverables in accordance with project requirements.\n\nCoordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure that technical designs and systems are properly integrated.\n\nSupervise and support BIM Modelers and Designers, providing technical guidance, monitoring progress and reviewing their deliverables.\n\nEnsure clear and effective communication between project teams, clients and external stakeholders.\n\nMonitor project progress, identify potential technical issues and propose practical solutions to keep projects on track.\n\nContribute to the continuous improvement of technical processes and engineering quality.\n\nBuild strong client relationships and identify opportunities for further collaboration.\n\nRequirements\nWho you are:\nYou have a Master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.\n\nYou have a strong technical background and an interest in multidisciplinary engineering and industrial projects.\n\nYou are comfortable coordinating technical activities across different engineering disciplines.\n\nYou have knowledge of MS Office, Navisworks and MS Project.\n\nYou have a good command of Dutch and English.\n\nYou have strong analytical skills and are able to understand complex technical challenges and translate them into practical solutions.\n\nYou are decisive and comfortable making informed decisions, even when dealing with incomplete information or changing project circumstances.\n\nYou are well organised, able to set priorities and capable of managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.\n\nYou take ownership of your work and focus on delivering quality results within agreed deadlines.\n\nYou are comfortable guiding and supporting Designers and BIM Modelers, helping them improve their technical knowledge and the quality of their work.\n\nYou are results-oriented, persistent and able to overcome challenges to achieve project objectives.\n\nYou work accurately and pay close attention to technical details.\n\nWorking Together: you actively collaborate with colleagues, clients and other engineering disciplines to achieve shared project goals.\n\nSharing Knowledge: you openly share your expertise, experience and best practices, contributing to the continuous development of your colleagues and the team.\n\nCustomer Orientation: you understand client needs and expectations and translate them into practical, high-quality engineering solutions.\n\nReady to join our BMO team?\nAre you ready to use your engineering expertise and coordination skills to turn complex technical challenges into efficient, practical and high-quality solutions?\nDo you recognise yourself in our values of Working Together, Sharing Knowledge and Customer Orientation?\nThen we'd love to hear from you.
