Our team includes clinicians, technologists, operators, and problem-solvers working together to make high-quality care more accessible for families nationwide.\nLead, Advanced Practice Providers\nRole Description\nYour north star: Lead a team of advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care focused on improving perinatal health outcomes.\nIn this role, you will have the following responsibilities: \nManage a team of high-performing APPs delivering high-quality virtual maternity and infant care to our patients.\nMonitor quality of care across a team of APPs, and identify training opportunities at both the individual and team level. Work with the learning and development team to roll out additional trainings across the APP team.\nSupport the team in addressing barriers to care that have been identified by patients and/or the care team. \nHold the APP team accountable to meeting Pomelo’s clinical objectives and key results (OKRs). Incorporate reviews of QA findings and individual APP performance metrics into each 1:1 meeting to ensure that team members receive timely feedback and guidance to continually improve their performance. \nProvide insights about frontline care and opportunities for process improvements to leadership and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities for professional growth for each individual on the team and support advanced practice providers in working toward those goals.\nParticipate in the recruiting process for open advanced practice provider positions by reviewing applications and interviewing candidates.\nManage the onboarding process of newly hired advanced practice providers. \nCollaborate with Market and Care Operations teams to optimize patient-centered care.\nWho you are\nAdvanced Practice Provider (FNP, CNM, or WHNP) with current unrestricted multi-state (compact) license\nHave 5+ years clinical experience in a hospital and/or healthcare practice, serving maternal-child health populations\nHave 3+ years of leadership experience\nAre internet-connected, ability to work remotely\nWilling to travel occasionally (infrequent)\nAn advanced practice provider who understands the prevalence and role that birth inequity and structural racism plays in maternal morbidity and mortality.\nFacility using multiple tech platforms, with an eagerness for advising about platform improvements and adapting to new systems\nEager to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment\nPhenomenal interpersonal and communication skills\nProfessionally engaged\nAble to cultivate a team of highly accountable APPs that avoids emotional waste and promotes shared governance\nExperience working with Medicaid populations preferred\nSchedule\nMonday - Friday, 12pm- 8pm EST\nWhy you should join our team\nBy joining Pomelo, you will get in on the ground floor of a fast-moving, well-funded, and mission-driven startup where you will have a profound impact on the patients we serve. In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, Pomelo Care is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $135,000 - $145,000. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range.
