We invest in our people and create opportunities to grow, thrive, and have fun.\nWhat You’ll Do: \nAssist with construction layout, monitoring, laser scanning, and survey field activities. \nHandle the survey rod for topography and set layout points. \nOpportunity to learn and operate a variety of survey equipment, including robotic total stations, GNSS/GPS receivers, digital levels, and terrestrial laser scanners. \nFollow instructions from the Chief Surveyor, Project Manager, and Superintendent. \nAssist in preparing field notes, sketches, reports, data, and survey documentation. \nAssist with survey equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management. \nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. \nWhat you'll bring: \nCurrently enrolled in a Geomatics Technology, Civil Engineering, Construction, or related post-secondary program. \nStrong interest in construction surveying and geomatics. \nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions. \nA positive mindset and sense of excitement for being in the action everyday on-site. \nA proven track record of team collaboration, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. \nValid Class 5 driver's license is considered an asset. \nAbility to lift 50lbs\nThe expected compensation range posted for this role applies to available work locations in Ontario and/or British Columbia.
