We invest in our talent and provide opportunities to learn, develop, thrive, and have fun along the way.\nWhat you will do : \nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and installation plans prepared by consultants and project partners;\nAssist the Electromechanical Operations Manager with day-to-day activities;\nSupport the implementation of health and safety requirements by MEP subcontractors, including lifting plans, work plans, and compliance with Energy Control (Lockout/Tagout) procedures;\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with all MEP stakeholders on site;\nIdentify key issues and risks arising on the construction site;\nParticipate in site meetings and coordination activities;\nMonitor the progress of electromechanical work against project schedules;\nVerify field installations for compliance with project requirements and quality standards;\nAssist in validating that partner work complies with contractual requirements, engineering drawings, specifications, installation plans, and the project quality plan;\nSupport Pomerleau’s Quality Manager during wall and ceiling closure inspections;\nAttend testing, commissioning, and start-up activities;\nReview and validate testing and inspection reports completed by MEP contractors.\nThis role could be for you if you have : \nCurrently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;\nDemonstrated interest in electromechanical systems and large-scale construction projects;\nStrong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with various site stakeholders;\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality;\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of project management or technical drafting/design software is considered an asset.\nBenefits\nHands-on Learning in construction, engineering, sustainability, and tech\nMentorship from experienced professionals\nStrong Networking with managers, engineers, and executives\nIndustry Insight through events, site visits, and team meetings\nCareer Growth into roles like project coordinator or site engineer\nFull-Time Potential with high intern-to-employee conversion\nFor the past six years, we've proudly held the distinction of being one of Canada's Top 100 Employers.\nPomerleau is a national leader in construction, delivering major projects across Canada.
