We want to hear from you.\nJoin Pomerleau’s Methods team and contribute to the planning and coordination of major construction projects across Canada.\nYou will work at the heart of our operations, supporting engineers and site teams to design, optimize, and model the temporary works essential to project delivery.\nWhat you will do\nContribute to the development of method plans: sequencing, work procedures, lifting plans, and site installation layouts. \nProduce and update temporary works drawings under the supervision of engineers (AutoCAD essential; Revit considered an asset). \nAssist in developing 2D/3D models for formwork, shoring, access systems, templates, platforms, and other temporary structures. \nSupport the preparation of technical documents, including work method notes, risk assessments, and technical sheets. \nPerform quantity take-offs and measurements for temporary works solutions. \nPrepare visual documents such as sections, details, technical renderings, and phasing views. \nConduct site visits to collect measurements, take photos, observe installation activities, and better understand operational needs. \nWork closely with engineers and site teams to improve existing methods and propose practical, innovative workflow solutions.\nThis role could be for you if you have\nEducation in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, technical drafting, or a related field. \nProficiency in AutoCAD (required). \nKnowledge of or interest in Revit (a strong asset). \nAbility to read and interpret structural and infrastructure drawings. \nCuriosity, attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn in the field. \nAbility to work collaboratively, with hands-on problem-solving skills and growing autonomy.\nBenefits\nHands-on Learning in construction, engineering, sustainability, and tech\nMentorship from experienced professionals\nStrong Networking with managers, engineers, and executives\nIndustry Insight through events, site visits, and team meetings\nCareer Growth into roles like project coordinator or site engineer\nFull-Time Potential with high intern-to-employee conversion\nFor the past six years, we've proudly held the distinction of being one of Canada's Top 100 Employers.\nPomerleau is a national leader in construction, delivering major projects across Canada.
