Among other assigned tasks, this individual will work directly alongside our service department to schedule fleet maintenance appointments.\nWhy Join Us?\nComprehensive Benefits – Eligible to enroll in medical, dental, vision at affordable rates\nSupplemental Benefits – Eligible to enroll in life insurance, Short- & Long-Term Disability, Critical Illness Insurance, Accident Insurance, Death and Dismemberment Insurance, and Hospital Indemnity Insurance\nRetirement Savings – 401(k) with company match\nPaid Time Off – Holidays, sick time, vacation, and special “Happy Days” for life events available day one\nEmployee Discounts – Save on company products\nCareer Growth – Opportunities for skill development and advancement\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage “Program” business for Strategic Accounts as assigned through scheduling fleet service appointments and coordinating with the service department\nDiagnose and troubleshoot problems with vehicles and plan repairs\nEnsure compliance of Fleet Programs at Pomp’s locations and customer terminals\nAssist the Fleets in managing expectations per each fleet’s metrics for measuring maintenance cost\nConduct fleet need evaluations and provide customers with cost/benefit analysis\nDevelop and maintain relationships with local and regional managers with each assigned fleet\nWork closely with all Pomp’s locations providing products and services to Fleets within an assigned geographic area\nIncrease sales opportunities within assigned fleets\nMake “Cold-Calls” to other Fleets in assigned area, as required, to increase market share\nManage data collection activities for assigned fleets, including, but not limited to, Fleet Surveys, Out of Service Tire Analysis, In Service Tire inspections, and mileage and tread depth information\nWhat You Need:\nValid Driver’s License and ability to maintain driving record to Pomp’s standards\nCDL Preferred\nAbility to safely operate vehicles equipped with manual and automatic transmission\n3 – 5 Years of Heavy Truck or Fleet mechanical experience preferred\nWorking knowledge of: Alignments, Suspension, Steering, Brakes, Slack Adjusters, Airbags, Electrical, Batteries, Air Lines, Trailer Readiness, State/Federal Inspections and maintenance programs \nProficiency in maintenance programs and diagnostic systems\nAbility to effectively communicate with internal and external customers\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office programs\nProficiency with MaddenCo and BASys for sales and manufacturing reports, or willingness to learn\nAbility to regularly lift, push, or move 25 pounds; occasionally lift, push, or move 75 pounds\nAbility to maintain professional appearance and demeanor\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nOccasional overnight travel\nDon’t let your career stall—put it in drive with Pomp’s Tire Service!
