Our associates are dedicated to delighting guests by providing excellent hospitality and serving great wine and food in a beautiful environment.\nSummary:\nThe Bouquet Host/Hostess will present a positive first impression of the restaurant. Greet guests with a smile, respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner, inform guests of their wait times, monitor the waiting list, show guests to their tableand bid farewell as guests depart.\nCompensation: $19.50 hourly + Tips\nSchedule:\nWeekends and Holidays area must\nRestaurant hours 8am to 2pm\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAdhere to the hotel’s safety policies to ensure safety and security to associates and guests.\nAnswer incoming phone calls and provide appropriate service such as booking reservations, advising of hours of operations and handling special requests. Return any phone messages promptly.\nAccurately input guest reservations into OpenTable making special note of special requests or any food allergies. \nSeat guests in a timely consistent manner, keeping in mind the balance of guest flow in the restaurant and server sections. \nWhen needed, provide accurate wait times to in coming guests. Take guest information and provide accurate estimate of wait time ensuring guest requests are accommodated. Contact the guests in a timely manner when their table is ready.\nCommunicate with bussers, runners, and food servers any messages or information that is needed to ensure the guests’ satisfaction is exceeded.\nObserve tables, keeping track of table statuses, i.e.: seated, bussing needed and finish).\nThank the guests for coming, and invite them to return.\nAbility to assist with in-room dining and take-away orders for guests of the hotel.\nAssist with opening, closing and side work duties as needed.\nBe familiar with Ponte menus. \nKeep hosts and clean, organized and presentable to guests at all times.\nPerform any other tasks as requested by Management.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust be 18 years or older. \nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card is required. \nAbility to obtain and maintain a valid Responsible Beverage Service Card is required.\nMust be available nights, weekends, and holidays.\nPrevious hotel or restaurant experience preferred.\nPrevious exposure to high volume restaurant environment preferred.\nPrevious OpenTable experience preferred but not required.\nBasic computer skills and experience with computer-based reservations systems preferred.\nAbility to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure.\nAbility to treat all associates in a respectful manner.\nExhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness).\nMust have excellent communication, multi-tasking and organizational skills.\nMust have exceptional grooming standards that are consistent with company guidelines.\nMust be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. \nMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly throughout their shift.\nMust be able to work up to 8 hours per shift. \nCompany Standards:\nUnderstand the Ponte Values, and Service Standards. \nEnsure the safety of guests and associates.\nFollow the environmental standards set by the Company\nTreat all associates and
