This position will report to the COO and Hotel Manager and will coordinate and work with the Winery Facilities Manager and Technican team.\nSummary:\nThe Groundskeeper will maintain landscaping at all Ponte properties and ensuresthat the property is presented with a quality that exceeds the guest’s expectations.\nCompensation:$19.60 hourly\nBenefits Per Company Plan Details\nMedical, Dental, Vision \n401k Matching Plan\nLife Insurance\nHospital Confinement Plan\nPet Insurance\n3 Weeks of PTO \n2 paid Holidays (Thanksgiving + Christmas)\n*The terms and conditions associated with each Benefit are outlined in the Associate Handbook, additional documentation provided by Human Resources, or within the policies of the carriers providing the benefits*\nSchedule:\nHours/Days vary by Hotel's needs\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nUnderstandand adhere tothe Ponte values and service standards.\nEnsure the safety of guests and associates.\nEnsure that trash is removed from the facility and grounds.\nCommunicate clearly with coworkers and leadership team any concerns, pass downs or follow up information.\nMow or edge lawns, using power mowers or edger.\nCare for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.\nUse hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.\nPrune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, or chain saws.\nMix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.\nWater lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.\nTrim or pick flowers and clean flower beds and gardens.\nRake, mulch, and compost leaves.\nFollow planned landscaping designs todeterminewhere to lay sod, sow grass, or plant flowers or foliage. \nPlant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs and apply mulch for protection, using gardening tools.\nControl rodents from identifying pests through pest removal.\nPlant 1-gallon to 15-gallon plants and 24\" to 36 \" inches box trees as needed\nPerform any additional duties as requested by the Vineyard Supervisor and the Housekeeping Manager.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nAbility to treat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.\nExhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness).\nHas attention to detail.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of landscaping and gardening experience.\nPhysical:\nThis position is exposed to cleaning products and chemicals which are used in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction labels, posted on the product.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand;
