Our associates are dedicated to delighting guests by providing excellent hospitality and serving great wine and food in a beautiful environment.\nSummary:\nThe Host/Hostess will provide a positive warm welcome and a friendly and professional report with guests. To seat guests efficiently by following all restaurant standards of service and protocols to exceed guests’ expectations.\nCompensation:$20.50 hourly\nSchedule:\n10:30am-7:00pm\nWeekends + Holidays are a must\nHours/Days vary by restaurant needs\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nGreet guests in a friendly, courteous manner and respond to guests requests promptly.\nInquire and verify wine club members, provide clean menus and print accordingly.\nRecord guest information in Open Table including special requests and notations.\nSeat guests in a timely manner, maintaining a steady pace for servers and kitchen.\nAssign reservations through Open Table with any special accommodationsrequested. \nAnticipate wait times and communicate according to availability and business levels.\nAnswer phones, log voice mails and return voice messages promptly.\nProcess orders and payments in micros for associate lunches, beverages and to go orders.\nThank guests for dining with us and invite departing guests to return.\nBe willing to support fellow associates in a team environment.\nComplete closing side work in preparation for the next business day.\nExecute any tasks as requested by management.\nFollow all Restaurant standards of service to achieve consistent customer satisfaction.\nMaintain a safe work area and ensure the safety of guests and associates.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust have excellent communication and organization skills.\nMust be able to work varying schedules, includes weekends and holidays.\nMust have exceptional grooming standards consistent with company guidelines.\nMust be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.\nMust be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.\nMust have the ability to obtain a Riverside County food handler’s card.\nCompany Standards:\nUnderstand the Ponte Values, and Service Standards. \nEnsure the safety of guests and associates.\nFollow the environmental standards set by the Company\nTreat all associates and guests in a respectful manner.\nExhibit integrity (honesty and truthfulness).\nPerform any other duties as required by your
