As the face of Horizon out on the job site, they represent our commitment to exceptional service, establish relationships with customers and always radiate a positive attitude.\nResponsibilities:\nMake deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.\nLoad and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured.\nCollect payments and accurately document delivery.\nMaintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).\nComplete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.\nEnsure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.\nAssist with housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and secure sales center.\nIncrease job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.\nPerform other duties as assigned. \nRequirements:\nA valid Class A commercial driver's license, willing to obtain Hazmat after hire.\nA Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP) indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.\nAbility to frequently lift and move items that weigh up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.\nAptitude to learn ever-evolving computer systems, programs, handheld technology and processes.\nAbility to observe surroundings for information and recognize potential problems.\nMaintains composure in a fast-paced environment focused on serving business owners with urgent needs.\nA cooperative, dependable team player.\nStrong customer service attitude.\nKeen awareness of how actions behind-the-scenes can impact customer service.\nGood communication and record-keeping skills.\nFollows and carries out instructions with minimal supervision.\nPossess or obtain forklift certification.\nMust be at least 21 years old.\nPreferred:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nTruck mounted forklift experience.\nCompressed air brake system experience.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.\nSelect CDL Drivers should possess or be able to obtain Hazmat certificate.\nDRIVER HOTLINE!
