We care about craft, taste, and doing right by people and the planet.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a Senior Designer with a strong point of view and an even stronger eye. This is a hands-on, craft-first role for a designer who lives in the details - type, image, color, layout - and can raise the visual quality of everything they touch.\nYou'll own work end to end: concepting, art direction, and execution across brand campaigns, product storytelling, packaging, social, and retail. You'll set the visual bar for your projects and be a trusted reference for teammates on what \"good\" looks like.\nThis is a senior individual contributor role, not a management or creative-director position. We're not looking for someone who has already run a department - we're looking for an exceptional maker who is still deeply hands-on, has real taste, and wants to grow their influence through the work itself.\nWhat You'll Do\nConcept and design across brand, campaign, product storytelling, marketing content, and social - from first sketch to final, production-ready artwork.\nSet the visual tone for your projects: typography, photography direction, color, composition, and overall aesthetic. Ie. Create good vibes with solid concepts.\nUse AI-gen tools and processes to rapidly develop concepts from sketch to finished content and animation. Bonus if you’re already deeply experienced with these tools (ie. Nano-banana, GPT2, Seedream, Midjourney, etc.). We will work with you to develop and refine a process for doing this consistently and with a high bar of aesthetic output. \nExtend and evolve our visual identity system, keeping it consistent and fresh across channels and partners.\nTranslate briefs and business goals into design that is both beautiful and effective, and be able to articulate the thinking behind it.\nPresent work with clear rationale, take feedback gracefully, and iterate quickly without losing the idea. \nCollaborate closely with marketing, product, packaging, and external agencies and partners.\nServe as the primary US-side creative lead and day-to-day collaboration manager for PopSockets' in-house design studio in China \nBuild and maintain design files, templates, and libraries that make the whole team faster and more consistent. \nBalance multiple projects and deadlines while protecting quality. Ie. Sweat the details others miss, make the work that becomes the gold standard for the brand. \nWhat You Bring\n5+ years of professional graphic / brand design experience, with a portfolio that shows range and a consistently high level of craft.\n Exceptional graphic design and visual literacy - a genuine eye and strong taste in typography, photography, composition, color, and layout. You can tell good from great, and you only make great.\nMastery of the core design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, bonus if you’re proficient with animation), and a fast, fluent workflow from concept to print- and pixel-ready files.\nStrong typographic fundamentals: hierarchy, spacing, grids, and type pairing that reads as intentional, not accidental.\nPhotography and image sensibilities: you can art-direct a shoot, choose and crop the right frame, and treat imagery as part of the design, not decoration.\nA systems mindset - able to build and extend a brand identity, not just make one-off assets.\nStrong communication: you can pitch an idea, explain your choices, and give and receive feedback well. \nSelf-direction and ownership - you can run a project with light supervision and know when to ask for input.\nGenuine curiosity about culture, trends, and the categories we play in, and the judgment to know what to adopt and what to leave.\nNice to have\nExperience in consumer products, lifestyle, fashion, or entertainment brands.\nMotion, illustration, or 3D skills.\nExperience working with licensed or partner IP (collabs, brand partnerships).\nFamiliarity with designing for retail and DTC/e-commerce.\nHow We Work\nWe're a small, fast-moving team that values craft, candor, and good reasons.
