Carefully review the tasks and responsibilities stated in the job description prior to applying.\nWe are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join our Digital Product team and partner closely with Product Owners/Product Managers, business stakeholders, and technology teams. This role is responsible forunderstanding business processes, gatheringand documenting requirements, analyzing impacts across multiple systems, customer journeys, integrations, channelsand operational processes to help ensure end-to-end solutions align with business needs. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as a key link between business, product, and development teams, helping translate ideas and business objectivesinto clear, actionable requirements that support successful delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nPartner Across Business, Product, and Technology\nCollaborate with Product Owners/Product Managers, business stakeholders, developers, architects, and vendors to understand business objectivesand product initiatives.\n\nSupport the translation of business and product goals into functional requirements and solution specifications.\n\nFacilitate discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather and refine requirements.\n\nAct as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.\n\nPartner with Product Owners and Product Managers to ensure requirements, solutions, and recommendations supportcustomer outcomes, business objectives, and product goals.\n\nRequirements Analysis & Documentation\nAnalyze business, functional, system, operational, customer, and product data to validaterequirements, identifyopportunities, and support product decisions.Createand maintainuser stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, use cases, and functional specifications.\n\nDocument current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes.\n\nIdentifydependencies, risks, assumptions, and gaps that may impactdelivery.\n\nSupport backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, and implementation activities.\n\nSystems & Process Analysis\nDevelop an understanding of how applications, services, APIs, data, and business processes interact across the organization.\n\nAnalyze end-to-end processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.\n\nEvaluate the impact of changes across systems, integrations, customerexperiences, operational workflows, risks, dependenciesand implementation considerations\n\nCreate process flows, workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and other artifacts that support solution design and team alignment.\n\nSupport Delivery & Execution\nOwn requirements and analysisdeliverables from discovery through implementation.\n\nEnsure requirements are clearly documented, traceable, and understood by stakeholders.\n\nSupport testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business needs and functional expectations.\n\nFollow up on open questions, dependencies, and action items to support successful product delivery.\n\nQualifications\nRequired\n3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.\n\nExperience working in cross-functional environments involving business, product, and technology teams.\n\nStrong requirementsgathering, analysis, and documentation skills.\n\nAbility to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.\n\nExperience creating process maps, workflow diagrams, journey maps, or similar documentation.\n\nStrong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nExperience working within Agile delivery environments.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in situations where requirements evolve over time.\n\nExperience supporting digital banking, financial services, payments, security, fraud prevention, or other regulated customer-facing products is a plus.\n\nPreferred\nExperience supporting digital products, customer-facing platforms, or enterprise applications.\n\nFamiliarity with APIs, system integrations, data flows, and SaaS solutions.\n\nExperience using Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro, Visio, or similar tools.\n\nExposure toSQL, Power BI, analytics, or reporting tools.\n\nKnowledge of customer journeys, user experience concepts, and digital product practices.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nThinksabout business needs through the lens of customer and business value.\n\nUnderstands how customer journeys, business processes, systems, data, and operational teams interact to deliver end-to-end customer experiences.\n\nIscomfortable participating in technical conversations without needing to be a developer.\n\nCan translate business requirements into clear and actionable work for delivery teams.\n\nBuilds trusted relationships across Product, Business, Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams.\n\nDemonstrates ownership of deliverables and follows through on commitments.\n\nImportant: The candidate must provide evidence of academic preparation or courses related to the job posting, if necessary.\nOur hybrid work model benefit applies to certain positions and is subject to changes based on the organizational needs.\nEligibility Criteria:\nMust have worked at least 18 months in the current position and as a Popular regular employee.\nMust have received an Overall Rating of Effective or higher in their most recent performance evaluation.
