This includes ownership of monthly forecasting and the annual budget, delivering comprehensive material for monthly business reviews and the regular output of ad hoc analysis critical to timely decision making. The Financial Analyst will be located in the Miami Lakes office and be a member of the Bank’s central Finance team located in New York. In addition, this analyst will calculate earnings credit payments and help optimize the ECR program for Popular Association Banking.\nIn this position, you will:\nServe as the Finance lead for Popular Association Banking, including ownership of all finance and reporting deliverables for the business unit along with ad hoc reporting and analysis.\nAssist with target setting and KPI tracking for the Popular Association Banking.\nDevelop ad-hoc analytics and reporting to help the business better understand and manage its costs, risks, capital usage, pricing, growth opportunities, etc.\nCalculate ECR payments monthly\nNew business and new opportunity tracking\nAnalyze and report on client, segment, region, and product profitability\nGenerate & propose key performance indicators\nTrack and report progress against business/sales strategy\nAct as a trusted advisor and counterweight to management team\nPartner with SMT members to develop strategy for the business\nOwn and ensure delivery of strategic business initiatives\nBusiness case development and validation\nTo be considered, you will need:\nBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics\nA minimum of 2+ years professional experience in corporate finance or accounting\nMust be an expert in Excel and proficient with PowerPoint\nAdept presentation skills with an ability to target messaging to different audiences\nExceptional organizational skills and an ability to handle multiple tasks to meet extremely tight deadlines\nAble to articulate complex issues and themes to stakeholders\nAbility to connect the dots and make sense of information across multiple data points that may not be easily noticeable\nImportant: The candidate must provide evidence of academic preparation or courses related to the job posting, if necessary.\nOur hybrid work model benefit applies to certain positions and is subject to changes based on the organizational needs.\nApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
