As part of the continued evolution of our Digital Banking platform, the Quality Engineering Supervisor will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, secure, and reliable digital solutions.\nThe incumbent will lead a team of Quality Engineers and Automation Engineers responsible for quality strategy, test automation, performance engineering, release validation, and quality governance across Digital Banking products and services.\nWorking closely with Product Management, Software Engineering, DevOps, Architecture, Infrastructure, and Business stakeholders, this role will drive quality engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, enabling faster delivery while maintaining exceptional customer experiences.\nAdditionally, this position will oversee a hybrid team comprised of local and offshore resources, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nQuality Engineering Leadership\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and Automation Engineers across local and offshore environments.\nDefine and execute quality strategies, objectives, standards, and success metrics aligned with Digital Banking priorities.\nEstablish governance models and quality controls to ensure consistent engineering practices across initiatives.\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Operations teams to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.\nPromote a quality-first culture through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.\nTest Automation & Quality Frameworks\nLead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend platforms.\nDrive test automation adoption across all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nEnsure automated test suites are maintainable, scalable, and fully integrated into CI/CD pipelines.\nEstablish reusable automation standards, testing libraries, and engineering best practices.\nPerformance Engineering & Reliability\nOversee performance, scalability, stress, and load testing activities.\nEstablish performance baselines, service-level objectives, and quality targets.\nAnalyze testing results and recommend improvements to increase application resilience, availability, and customer experience.\nPartner with Engineering and Infrastructure teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks.\nRelease Readiness & Quality Governance\nDefine release quality criteria and participate in deployment readiness reviews.\nEvaluate quality risks and provide recommendations regarding production releases.\nEnsure proper execution of pre-production and post-release validation activities.\nMonitor quality metrics, defect trends, and release outcomes to drive continuous improvement.\nContinuous Improvement & Innovation\nEvaluate and implement emerging Quality Engineering tools, frameworks, and methodologies.\nDrive adoption of AI-assisted testing solutions and automation accelerators.\nDevelop reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into product quality, testing coverage, automation effectiveness, and delivery performance.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering productivity and operational excellence.\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field required.\nMaster’s Degree preferred.\nExperience\nMinimum of five (5) years of experience leading technology initiatives and delivering business-critical solutions.\nMinimum of three (3) years of leadership experience managing Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or Automation Engineering teams.\nExperience developing and implementing enterprise-level test automation strategies.\nExperience leading performance, scalability, and reliability testing efforts.\nExperience working within Agile and DevSecOps environments.\nExperience managing distributed and offshore teams preferred.\nFinancial Services or Banking industry experience strongly preferred.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nStrong understanding of Quality Engineering, Software Testing, Test Automation, and Performance Engineering principles.\nKnowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery methodologies.\nExperience with automation frameworks, API testing, mobile testing, performance testing, and quality metrics.\nExcellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality outcomes.\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.\nSelf-directed professional capable of operating effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nHighly collaborative, intellectually curious, and committed to continuous learning and innovation.\nCertifications (Preferred)\nISTQB Certified Tester\nCertified Agile Tester (CAT)\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM)\nAWS, Azure, or Cloud-related certifications\nPerformance Testing certifications (JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent)\nImportant: The candidate must provide evidence
