The primary goal is to improve Popular user satisfaction via the development of best-in-class digital user experiences by creating immersive, personalized experiences, and ensure company goals are reached.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign and develop phototypes and/or wireframes based on requirements.\nTake a user-centric design approach and iterate the design solution.\nWork with other developers to ensure that the website is functional and visually appealing.\nEnsure development is in accordance with style guides and other requirements of Popular’s design systems.\nUnderstand the limitations of our tech stack and business model and provide technical advice wherever necessary.\nSolve problems creatively and efficiently. Think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to user problems.\nNeeds to have a deep understanding of user experience (UX).\nSeeks to enhance the user experience of a specific assigned initiative. \nCollaborate with team to develop overall concepts for improving the user experience within a webpage or product, ensuring all interactions are intuitive and convenient for customers.\nWrite functional requirement documents and guides.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in: Computer Engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or related field.\nExperience\nA minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a front-end developer.\nCertifications / Licenses\nNo certifications or license needed.\nOther Qualifications\nStrong business acumen: ability to understand the needs and concerns of business stakeholders and colleagues and respond promptly and effectively to stakeholder requests. Ability to conduct analysis on work procedures, business results, and recommends changes to improve the effectiveness of the business's management.\nCommunication skills: effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly develop written and verbal communications skills in English. Presents numerical data effectively. Superior communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent report-writing and presentation skills. Polished in preparing presentations, executive summaries, and business reports in English for executive audiences\nAnalytical skills: Stays focused on main issues, prevents irrelevant issues or distractions from interfering with timely completion of assignments. Collects, research and complements data; Synthesizes complex or diverse information. Demonstrates attention to detail; Applies design principles; Generate creative solutions. Strong quantitative, research and analytical skills. Experience with data analysis, persuasive and informative writing, workload management, and process management.\nProblem Solving: Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Develops alternative solutions.\nProject Management: Ability to prioritize and work with multiple projects and tasks with minimum supervision; self-direct and task switch between strategic and tactical initiatives regularly. Capacity to achieve results according to plan ensuring the expected quality. Excellent organization capacity to define priorities, meet deadlines, and flexible to change. Knowledge on project coordination, identification of business needs, work plan, budget control, time management, resource allocation, team management and status reports. Must demonstrate leadership, logic, and reasoning skills.\nOperational/Regulations Processes: Knowledge on budget administration, resources allocation, organization’s policies, and regulations. Ability to establish, conduct and track operational processes properly.\nComputer and Technological Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365. Experience with software’s, platforms, and programming languages tools such as: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Git, among others is desired. Understanding and proficiency of key design and front-end principles. Possess excellent well-structured coding skills and be able to translate design specifications into code.
