Your employment will be legally administered through RemoFirst, while your day-to-day work is led by Porch Group.\nJob Summary\nThe future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d loveyou to be a part of it as a Claims Associate\nPrimaryrole is to provide excellent customer service to callers, customers, agents, and business partners. Responsible for taking inbound phone calls and emails, verifying coverage, setting up claims, sending inspection request and alerts to adjusters and examiners, requesting checks, attaching documents and emails to Image Right, documenting activities in the claim file.\nA Claims Associate is a critical position responsible for assistingand interacting with insureds, claimants, adjusters, agents, underwriters, examiners, contractors, restoration and other vendors and experts in a team environment.\nWhat You Will Do As A Claims Associate\nObtaining critical claims information and setting up a claim in claims system (PTS)\n\nAnswering incoming phone calls\n\nSubmitting claim and inspection request to adjusters and vendors\n\nInvestigates prior claims and related information for adjusters\n\nInvestigates weather and storm information using the internet\n\nSupports mail distribution, filing and scanning· Managing diary entries\n\nMaintaining positive internal and external work relationships\n\nAssisting insureds, agents, and claimants with information on a claim, questions or concerns when appropriate\n\nInputting expense and claims checks as needed· Supporting the Claims Department\n\nWhat You Will Bring As A Claims Associate\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\n\nMinimum of one year of related claims or customer service experience preferred\n\nExceptional customer service skills\n\nAbility to work independently with little employee supervision\n\nGathers and analyzes information skillfully\n\nFollows policies and procedures\n\nSets up claims and submits to adjusters in a timely manner\n\nManages difficult or emotional customer situations\n\nShows empathy\n\nMaintains confidentiality\n\nWrites clearly and informatively\n\nDemonstrates accuracy and thoroughness\n\nWorks with integrity and ethically\n\nPrioritizes and plans work activities\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\n\nExperience working with global and/or US based business teams\n\nExcellent written and communication skillsinEnglishlanguage\n\nWorkspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload\n\nWhat You Will GetSupporting Porch Group\nMonthly Salary:COP3,200,000.00 to COP 3,600,000.00\nWhat’s next?\nSubmit your application below and our Talent Acquisition team will be reviewing your application shortly!
