GROW WITH US INTO 2027\nJoin Porto Platanias Hotels & Resorts and take the next step in your career\n\nDescription\nPorto Platanias Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Service Manager to oversee the daily service operations and coordinate the restaurant service team.\nThe Service Manager works closely with the F&B Manager and Assistant F&B Manager, focusing on smooth service operations, compliance with service standards and effective team coordination.\nResponsibilities\nSupervises the daily operation of the restaurants and checks the readiness of the areas before each service, including cleanliness, mise en place and compliance with established procedures.\nCoordinates the service team, assigns daily tasks and monitors attendance, professional appearance, performance and compliance with operational procedures.\nMonitors the service flow and ensures speed, quality and proper guest service.\nChecks the presentation and availability of buffets, where applicable, and ensures that staff are properly informed about menus, products and allergens.\nMonitors and implements the required HACCP procedures, ensures compliance with food hygiene and safety standards, and oversees the proper completion of required forms and checks.\nMonitors the use of service equipment, tableware and consumables and reports shortages, damages or operational issues.\nEnsures compliance with hygiene, cleanliness and professional appearance standards throughout the service areas.\nReports to the Assistant F&B Manager and F&B Manager on staffing, operational, HACCP and guest complaint matters, as well as other departmental needs.\nΑπαραίτητα Προσόντα:\nRequirements\n2–3 years of experience in a similar position such as Service Manager, Restaurant Manager, Maître or another supervisory role within hotel F&B operations.\nProven experience in restaurant operations and service team management.\nStrong knowledge of restaurant procedures, service standards and basic HACCP principles.\nStrong organizational, coordination and team leadership skills.\nExcellent communication skills and a guest-oriented approach.\nGood command of English.
