the requirements lifecycle - from early stakeholder engagement through to detailed specification - ensuring alignment across engineering, development, and test teams.\nYou’ll lead the development of both high-level and detailed specifications, with a strong focus on traceability, governance, and real-world testability.\nKey Responsibilities\nRequirements Analysis & Governance\nAnalyse and refine system requirements to align with programme objectives\nTranslate stakeholder needs into clear, structured, and testable requirements\nDevelop and maintain a robust requirements governance framework \nTraceability (end-to-end)\nVersion control\nChange management\n\nStakeholder Engagement\nCollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including: \nEnd users of test systems\nSystem designers and engineers\nSoftware developers\nIntegration & test teams\n\nFacilitate workshops, reviews, and requirement validation sessions\nEnsure alignment between technical delivery and business needs\nDocumentation & Specification\nOwn the creation and progression of: \n Technical Requirements Specification (TRS)\n Software Requirements Specification (SRS)\n\nProduce high-quality documentation that is: \nClear, complete, and unambiguous\nStructured and maintainable\nFit for engineering and test teams\n\nSystem & Software Requirements Development\nDefine end-to-end system requirements including: \nHardware\nSoftware\nInterfaces\nConstraints\n\nBreak down high-level requirements into: \nDetailed software functionality\nPerformance and behavioural requirements\n\nEnsure full traceability between TRS and SRS\nIntegration, Test & Simulation\nEnsure requirements are testable and measurable\nAlign requirements with system integration and validation strategies\nSupport the use of simulation-led testing to validate system behaviour\nKey Deliverables\nTechnical Requirements Specification (TRS)\nA complete, high-level requirements document covering the full test system, including:\nStakeholder-driven inputs\nHardware, software, and interface requirements\nSystem constraints and dependencies\nSoftware Requirements Specification (SRS)\nA detailed, structured breakdown of software requirements that:\nDefines system functionality and behaviour\nLinks directly back to TRS (full traceability)\nSupports development, integration, and testing\nWhat We’re Looking For\nStrong experience in requirements engineering within complex systems environments\nProven track record delivering TRS / SRS documentation\nDeep understanding of: \nSystem integration & testing\nVerification & validation processes\nSimulation-based testing approaches\n\nExperience with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Jama, Polarion)\nExcellent stakeholder engagement and
