Drivers are expected to arrive promptly, scan/sort their packages, organize the route and follow customer instructions and follow up with our Management team when issues arise. Driver's must also adhere to all state driving laws and company operational standards. Packages will weigh up to 50 LBS and most deliveries will be residential (house or apartment).\nDuties & Responsibilities\n*Driving*\nSafely operate vehicle less than 10,000 GVWR (ram promaster or cutaway box truck)\nMust adhere to all Michigan State driving laws\nMust be comfortable driving in a variety of road and weather conditions\n*Daily Operations*\nDrivers must properly scan packages, sort delivery stops into totes and organize all stops with precise accuracy\nBend, lift, twist, kneel, stoop, reach, pull and push\nMust be comfortable using mobile technology for GPS, route delivery execution and other job related functions\nLift and carry 50 LBS. on a regular basis \nDeliver an average of 100 stops per day\nWalking 15,000 steps daily average\n*Customer Service*\nProvide a positive representation of Post and Parcel INC to our Dedicated Partners\nProvide a high-quality delivery experience through accuracy and customer communication to our partners and their customers\nMust be able to read, write and speak English\n Must be 21 years of age\nMust possess a VALID Class E Driver's License \nMust be willing to submit for a Background check and MVR \nMust be willing to submit for a 4-panel drug screen\nAbility to lift 50 LBS on a regular, consistent basis\nPrevious delivery experience preferred, not required\nComfortable working outdoors, in the elements
