Duties include stocking workstation, shelves, bins, and racks. Responsible for assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise, as well as controlling inventory overages and shortages.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), 1 to 2 related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience with HS News Systems (automated packaging and logistics solutions), Radio Frequency (RF)scanners, and Computac (CTAC).\nAble to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence.\nAble to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.\nAble to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\nAble to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\n\nSummary of Responsibilities:\n\n50% Order Picking, Packaging and Shipment Preparation\nPick customer orders for packing and labeling.\nMerge orders in proper skids and cages for shipments.\nLaying out skids for reorders.\nCount quantity of items displayed on the order pick system and place items in boxes or other assigned packing methods according to company productivity standards. Goal is to achieve 99.2% accuracy.\nEfficiently pick, log, address, and label customer orders, strap boxes, and place orders onto skids for merging with other shipments, ensuring the correct quantity and type of products are loaded for delivery. Maintain accurate marker manifest logs and ensure all pieces are accurately addressed, labeled, and skids are stable.\nAssist in preparing and wrapping skids for shipment, docking skids to pallet bulk racks, and ensuring all orders are placed in the correct merge order.\n\n25% Stocking and Inventory Management\nReplenish stock.\nTag and organize client stock.\nParticipate in set-up and tear down of production line, accurately counting inventory and ensuring correct tagging for client stock.\nStock shelves, organize inventories, set up work area for order picking and bins replenishment. Ensure inventory, products, and work areas are organized and set up according to company standards.\n\n10% Quality Control and Equipment Operation\nConduct timely quality control checks on production, performing both spot checks and routine inspections, ensuring all quality checks are completed on time and documented as required.\nIf authorized, operate equipment, including manual and electric pallet jacks, in accordance with safety procedures, ensuring equipment is turned off and secure when not in use. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment, ensuring safe practices are maintained.\n\n10% Safety and General Compliance\nAdhere to safety protocols and regulations.\nFollow all safety protocols and adherence to safety regulations, reporting any hazards, incidents, and injuries immediately to a Supervisor or Manager. Uphold a safety-first approach in all tasks, contributing to a safe and compliant work environment.\nReport issues, delays, or discrepancies to the appropriate Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.\nHave a general knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and procedures, adhering to company guidelines and industry best practices.\n\n5% Warehouse Organization\nPerform general housekeeping.\nStore materials and equipment properly.\nMaintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse by performing weekly cleaning, ensuring materials are stored in proper locations, stocking bins and racks from receiving carts, handling order assembly overages, and laying out skids for reorders.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nGoals & Objectives\nEnsure accurate order fulfillment.\nMaintain efficient inventory and stock management.\nUphold quality and equipment standards.\nPromote a safe and compliant work environment.\nKeep the warehouse clean and functional.\n\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
