Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available. \nJob Summary:\nResponsible for the overall management of the day to day operations of JJ’s Rocky Mountain Tavern.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nEmployee Satisfaction (have happy employees)\nEnsure overall quality management of the food and beverage outlet.\nResponsible for supervision of restaurant staff.\nResponsible for recruiting, hiring, and training staff.\nMaintains positive communication with staff and management. Including but not limited to: 1 general staff meeting per month on the first Monday of every month, summer and winter seasons, minimum of 2 one on one meeting per month with direct report and JJ’s chef, conducts “pre-shift” huddle whit front of house staff\nDevelop, implement and maintain satisfactory training program for the restaurant staff. Including but not limited to: Assist in creating an in-house employee handbook, assist in creating a “front of house” training handbook and exam\nMonitor training programs and ensure that training is done consistently for all jobs. Utilize employee training handbooks and exams. Track individual employees training performance within the employee’s file\nUtilize the employee performance appraisal process to develop and improve the employee performance.\nAssist in conducting mid-season performance appraisals for all front of house staff.\nResponsible for maintaining consistent and fair disciplinary procedures.\nAssists in determining appropriate staffing levels according to business forecasts and ensures sufficient staff is in place.\nIs knowledgeable of Copper Mountain Resort’s mission statement and philosophy, and implements its usage in operations and training.\nAssists with overall restroom cleanliness and duties when needed\nGuest Satisfaction:\nResponsible for overall quality of guest services and products.\nAssists with special events and functions according to the banquet event order form for that event.\nMaintains proper sanitation standards.\nResponsible for proper maintenance of facility and equipment, inside and outside.\nIs knowledgeable of and able to implement proper security and safety protocols.\nEnsure that the outlet is in compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. (includes, but not limited to, local liquor laws, employment laws, OSHA rulings, sanitation standards)\nDevelops and implements outlet concept, menu, marketing and advertising plans. Works cooperatively with the manager, chef, director of F&B, and F&B marketing.\nEnsure that appropriate standards regarding interior environment, atmosphere, and theming are maintained.\nFinancial:\nAssists in monthly FOH inventory and overall inventory and end of month P&L monitoring.\nResponsible for overall financial performance of outlet as established by budgetary guidelines.\nAssists in timecard monitoring daily and bi-weekly payroll approval.\nMaintains and is accountable for proper cash handling procedures and general accounting within the outlet.\nMaintains proper daily reports of revenue and expenditures.\nAssists in weekly counting of the outlet bank and change bank\nAssists in preparation of fiscal and capital budgets.\nMaintains proper inventory costing procedures.\nMaintains proper ordering and receiving procedures.\nMaintains proper procedures regarding invoicing and pill payments\nEstablishes and maintains appropriate and effective working relationships with vendors, while adhering to our core partnerships.\nAdministration Duties:\nTimesaver and payroll monitoring.\nFront of house scheduling.\nFront of house waste tracking.\nOther Duties as Assigned:\nThis job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
