Team members play a vital role in creating experiences that strengthen guests’ connection to this landscape and its enduring story.\nJob Summary:\nThe Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all Zion Mountain Ranch'sfacilities, equipment, and systems. This position involves performing routine and preventative maintenance, responding to repair requests, and troubleshooting various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. The Maintenance Technician will contribute to the comfort and safety of both employees and guests, ensuring that Zion Mountain Ranchoperatessmoothly and that its surroundings arewell-maintained.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPerform general maintenance and repairs on cabins/lodge facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work.\n\nConduct routine inspections of lodge buildings and equipment,identifyingissues, and completing repairsin a timely manner.\n\nAddress maintenance requests from guests and employees efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and guest experience.\n\nAssistwith preventative maintenance tasks to avoid breakdowns and ensure the longevity of systems and equipment.\n\nPerform basic troubleshooting for appliances, heating and cooling systems, lighting, and other mechanical systems.\n\nMaintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure the maintenance workshop is kept organized and clean.\n\nRespond to emergency maintenance calls promptly and perform necessary repairs or provide temporary solutions until a permanent fix is possible.\n\nEnsure safety standards are adhered to, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with OSHA regulations.\n\nAssistwithmaintainingoutdoor areas and grounds as needed, including minor landscaping, snow removal, and storm response.\n\nMaintain logs of maintenance and repair activities, including completed work orders and equipment serviced.\n\nCommunicate regularly with theMaintenanceManager to report issues, request supplies, andupdate onprogress.\n\nSupport special projects or installations as required by the MaintenanceSupervisor and MaintenanceManager.\n\nOther Duties as Assigned:\nThis job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations.
