Snowbird is a unique resort with distinct summer and winter seasons and offers full-time, part-time and seasonal positions.\nTITLE: Resort Guest Service Associate\nLOCATION: Snowbird Center\nSTATUS: Seasonal, Part-time, Hourly\nSUMMARY\nGuest Service Associates work primarily inside the Mountain Center at the Snowbird Center, in a centralized space working with other department team members. GSAs may have shifts working indoors in the Mountain Center or at the Lesson Center Desk, or outdoors at Ski Check depending on business needs for the day. GSAs identify the needs of every guest and pair each with the best fitting product or service Snowbird has to offer. Associates will be trained in a variety of programs and sales software to have the ability to sell all Snowbird products from their location. As a member of the Resort Guest Services team, Guest Service Associates will also be provided with information relating to all aspects of Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort to share this knowledge with guests at every interaction. This role requires quick and effective communication and sales skills, as well as advanced problem resolution techniques.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nIdentify the best Snowbird product available to meet the needs of each guest.\nWork with a variety of sales and software programs to sell available products and book reservations/services for guests.\nSeasonally, operate Snowbird’s Ski Check by managing check ins and outs, processing product sales, and organization at the ski check sheds.\nMaintain the Mountain Center space to provide a welcoming and positive environment for every guest.\nAcknowledge and resolve any guest service or safety concerns brought to your attention.\nProvide information about Snowbird resort to guests on a constant basis, answering questions accurately and providing resources as appropriate.\nPromote Snowbird’s full range of products by encouraging guests to challenge themselves on a progressive path in a safe and exciting manner.\nWork with your Snowbird teammates in a variety of departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.\nSeasonally, maintain the Wasatch Mine daily and/or weekly.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB\nStrong guest service skills. Previous work in guest or customer services, concierge, valet, resort sales, or similar guest-facing role preferred.\nThis is a high energy job with constant interactions with guests. Team members should be able to multi-\ntask, maintaining a kind and confident demeanor while processing requests and sales transactions.\nRole requires the ability to solve problems that arise, without constant supervision from management team. Associates should be prepared to acknowledge issues and respond to guests with positive solutions.\nA willingness to quickly and efficiently pair guests with services and products to suit their needs.\nBasic computer skills and familiarity with sales platforms such as RTP, Flaik, and Square are a plus.\nEagerness to learn new skills and embrace a constantly changing environment are encouraged.\nStrong communication skills.\nAble to lift up to 40 pounds.\nAt least 18 years of age.\nWORK SCHEDULE\nPart-time positions available.\nDaily schedule within: 8 am to 4:30 pm - winter, 10 am to 6 pm - summer.
