As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator at Boreal and Soda Springs, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our resort safe, accessible, and running smoothly through all weather. You’ll be behind the controls of loaders, plows, and other large machinery to remove snow from roads, parking lots, walkways, and key resort areas.\nThis is a part-time, hands-on, high-impact job for experienced operators who enjoy early mornings, working outdoors, and making a difference.\nPerks:\nStarting pay: $20-$25/hour (DOE)\n\nHealth insurance options for ALL employees\n\nFree season pass to Boreal, Soda Springs, and all POWDR resorts\n\nFull access to the Bunker - Woodward Tahoe’s indoor training facility with trampolines, foam pits, skateparks, and more\n\nDiscounts on food, retail, and gear\n\nDiscounts for friends and family\n\nWork in a fun, supportive, mountain-town environment\n\nCareer advancement opportunities across the Woodward and POWDR network\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nOperating front-end loaders, plow trucks, skid steers, and other snow removal equipment\n\nClearing snow from access roads, parking lots, building entrances, walkways, and resort infrastructure\n\nMaintaining equipment through regular checks, fueling, and reporting maintenance needs\n\nWorking early mornings, nights, weekends, and during active storms\n\nFollowing all safety procedures while operating equipment in high-traffic or guest-facing areas\n\nSupporting other departments with equipment needs as necessary (e.g., hauling, clearing space for deliveries, etc.)\n\nCollaborating with the facilities team to prioritize areas based on operational needs\n\nQualifications:\nPrevious experience operating heavy machinery in winter or snow removal environments\n\nMust be 18 or older\n\nValid driver’s license required; CDL preferred but not required\n\nAble to work outdoors for extended periods in cold, snowy, and icy conditions\n\nComfortable working overnight or early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays\n\nStrong situational awareness and safety-first mindset\n\nReliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or with a team\n\nYou make us Woodward.
