Your direct cash wage plus tips must equal Colorado minimum wage for each workweek; if they do not - the company will pay the difference in the pay period covering that workweek. You retain all tips you receive, except for amounts contributed to a lawful tip pool or tip-sharing arrangement; the company does not keep your tips. The tip credit applies only while you qualify as a tipped employee and perform tipped work or qualifying directly supporting work. Copper Mountain will pay the applicable full minimum wage for time that is not eligible for the tip credit. A mandatory service charge is not a tip and will not be counted as tip income toward this tip credit.
