Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential for this role.\nEssential Responsibilities\nGive direction to all hourly employees in the department.\nOrganize/Prioritize daily workflow to meet delivery dates.\nMentor/Facilitate Safety Squad/Safety Program Activities.\nCoordinate inventory functions, such as fulfilling kit requests.\nCoordinate receiving functions, such as checking material and receiving into inventory.\nCoordinate shipping functions, such as packing shipments and creating shipping documents.\nMinimum Qualifications\nA minimum education level of a High School Diploma or General Education Diploma is required.\nMinimum 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, previous leadership role is considered an asset.\nPrevious experience in Receiving, Stockroom and/or Shipping is considered an asset.\nSkills, Abilities & Other Requirements\nAbility to read a tape measure.\nKnowledge of machines and tools including their design, use, repair and maintenance.\nBasic computer knowledge, previous experience with Oracle is considered an asset.\nPositive attitude.\nWillingness to learn.\nWillingness to mentor/train new employees.\nAbility to follow directions from Supervisor.\nEffectively demonstrates on-time delivery and the ability to stay focused on goals and responsibilities.\nSelf-starter with ability to take on multiple tasks with a drive to succeed.\nChallenges the status quo;
