The Quality Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction\nEssential Responsibilities\nProvide technical support on Warranty inquiries.\nParticipates, as needed, Customer Factory Acceptance Tests\nSchedule and assign jobs to inspection crews.\nSupervise inspection department.\nSchedule Customer Inspections.\nInterface with manufacturing, engineering, sales, customers, and shipping.\nAttend production meetings.\nAttend Sales/Operations meetings for long term planning on work load as required\nAttend pre-inspection meetings with sales and customers.\nEvaluate all inspection department personnel.\nMaintain adherence to company policies and safety rules.\nInterview and test inspector candidates.\nEnsure all test equipment is either maintained or calibrated as necessary and records are kept as required.\nAttend, as needed, Vendor Factory Acceptance Tests\nMinimum Qualifications\nAssociate degree in a Technical field preferred.\nMinimum of 5 years’ experience in the industrial electrical field preferred.\nMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership/supervisor role required.\nKnowledge of IEEE standards for Circuit Breakers, Switchgear, Switches, and Transformers preferred.\nNational Electric Code knowledge preferred.\nBasic understanding of power system and relay applications preferred.\nKnowledge of ISO Standards preferred\nKnowledge of Root Cause Analysis, CAPA preferred\nKnowledge of Six Sigma preferred\nBasic understanding of Lean Manufacturing preferred.\nSkills, Abilities & Other Requirements\nCommand of the English language, both written and verbal\nAbility to write Operating Procedures and Work Instructions as required.\nAbility to answer technical questions from manufacturing, inspectors, and customers.\nAbility to interact on a regular basis with manufacturing, inspection, engineering, sales, and shipping personnel.\nAbility to apply product knowledge and technical skills to aid in problem solving with inspectors independently with minimum supervision.\nAbility to improve and drive organizational change.\nMust have basic computer skills using Word, Excel and
