The Mechanical Superintendent has significant impact on the success of the company and delivering on our mission to be the most trusted name in the industry.\nPosition Responsibilities\nManage, evaluate and train field project team members.\nPlan, organize and direct production of contracted scope of work.\nBuild and maintain relationships with customers, inspectors and other trades.\nCoordinate production and attend meetings with other trades as well as the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts while providing excellent customer service.\nEnsure all installations meet quality and mechanical code standards.\nManage material and personnel requirements necessary to meet schedule.\nAdhere to Power Design’s standards of quality, safety and best practices.\nHere’s What We’re Looking For\nOSHA 30 certification preferred.\nExperience with Hydronic piping systems, Chiller, Boiler, Water Source Heat Pump refrigeration systems.\nProgressive Mechanical, HVAC, or Plumbing leaders who love using technology and want a clear career path\nSkilled field supervisor with at least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects\nActive journeyman or master Mechanical or Plumbing license preferred\nProficient knowledge of the IMC, IPC, and IBC Standards; local codes; and construction safety requirements\nKnowledge in Managing Plumbing Systems and / or HVAC Air distribution systems a plus.\nFamiliarity with project management and construction technology applications such as Bluebeam, ProCore, BIM 360, CrewConnect, FieldWire, and/or Open Space preferred\nFlexibility to travel to other Power Design project sites as needed within the state of Florida preferred\nDemonstrate and uphold all of Power Design’s core values, which include integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth\nAt Power Design, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
