Ensuring efficient, timely, and high-quality output on multiple projects simultaneously.\nManage and lead weekly coordination meetings, present project updates, and resolve major design issues with architects, engineers, and contractors.\nProduce high-level deliverables, such as coordination sign-offs, as-built models, and data-driven reports.\nUse and understand coordination data to drive decisions and optimization strategies\nServe as the primary client-facing representative, providing technical insights and ensuring client satisfaction. Being client facing requires fostering the relationship and achieving Plus One feedback\nDevelop and maintain company-wide BIM standards and workflows, driving continuous improvement.\nMentor, provide technical guidance and train BIM Coordinators and BIM Coordinator Assistants, fostering professional growth within the team.\nSoftware Proficiencies:\nProficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and BIM360 Coordinate.\nAdvanced PC Skills, Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) Bluebeam or Fieldwire\nMicrosoft Teams/Zoom or similar\nScheduling software\nExperience with advanced tools like Dynamo, ACC, or programming (e.g., Python, C++) is a plus.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.\nIndustry certifications (e.g., CM-BIM, Revit Certified Professional) are highly preferred. \n5-7 years of experience in BIM coordination, with a proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.\nAdvanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and clash detection tools.\nExpertise in MEP systems, construction processes, and BIM project management.\nExceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior team members.\nSkills and Abilities:\nAbility to read, comprehend, and interpret technical literature/writing and plans\nAbility to define problems, assess options and make appropriate recommendations\nAbility to distinguish between shades of color\nCompetence in public speaking/presentations\nSelf-driven desire to learn, become competent, and succeed in field\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to train and mentor\nExcellent self-management and organizational skills\nStrong analytical skills and ability to generate creative solutions\nAbility to perform well and meet expectations in a fast-paced environment\nGood interpersonal skills\nAbility to coordinate project activities & monitor progress to successfully reach project goals\nAbility and willingness to demonstrate ethical behavior and a high level of integrity\nAbility to balance team and individual responsibilities\nAbility manage stress and job demands.\nMentor and train other VDC and Engineering team members\nEnforce Virtual Design and Construction standards\nMaintain training and continued education for incumbent and team to continually improve accuracy and productivity\nAt Power Design, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
