Technical Leadership\nLead and manage all electrical design activities for projects (power generation, gas compressors, pumping systems, oil & gas facilities).\nEnsure electrical designs comply with applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, API, client specifications).\nReview and approve key deliverables:\nSingle Line Diagrams (SLD)\nLoad lists and power calculations\nProtection & coordination studies\nCable sizing and routing\nEarthing and lightning protection systems\nControl and instrumentation interfaces\n\n2. Design Management\nDevelop and maintain electrical design procedures, templates, and checklists.\nAssign tasks to electrical design engineers and monitor progress against schedules.\nEnsure design accuracy, completeness, and minimization of rework.\nCoordinate electrical design inputs with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, and civil teams.\n\n3. Project Support\nSupport project managers with technical inputs, estimates, and engineering schedules.\nParticipate in design review meetings, HAZOP / HAZID, and technical clarification meetings with clients.\nProvide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning stages.\nResolve technical issues and non-conformities during project execution.\n\n4. Procurement & Vendor Coordination\nPrepare technical specifications and datasheets for electrical equipment.\nReview vendor drawings, documents, and technical offers.\nPerform technical bid evaluations and support commercial decisions.\nCoordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure compliance with design requirements.\n\n5. Quality & Compliance\nEnsure all electrical designs follow company QA/QC procedures.\nImplement design verification and internal review processes.\nEnsure proper document control, revision management, and design traceability.\nSupport audits and client inspections related to electrical engineering.\n\n6. Team Development & Performance\nMentor and train electrical design engineers and junior staff.\nEvaluate team performance and contribute to KPIs and annual assessments.\nIdentify skill gaps and propose technical training plans.\nPromote best engineering practices and continuous improvement.\n\n7. Interface with Operations & Commissioning\nCoordinate with operation and commissioning teams to ensure design practicality.\nSupport site activities, troubleshooting, and as-built documentation.\nCapture lessons learned and feed them back into design standards.\n\n8.
