If you bring a strong engineering foundation, hands-on project delivery experience, and a passion for renewable energy, this is an opportunity to make an impact on complex projects while working alongside talented engineers, clients, contractors, and industry partners. Preferred to have someone hybrid at one of our PSE offices.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nEmbrace, uphold, and live out PSE’s core values around People, Problem-Solving, and Progress.\nLead project management for strategic renewable energy projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from origination and feasibility through design, procurement, construction, and closeout.\nManage engineering and design projects, coordinating electrical, civil, and structural disciplines to deliver successful, turnkey solutions.\nServe as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment on expectations, and a high level of client satisfaction.\nCoordinate internal and external teams, including engineers, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.\nDevelop and manage project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans to keep projects on track and within budget.\nApply project management tools, methodologies, and best practices to effectively manage scope, cost, schedule, resources, and risk.\nSupport procurement and contracting activities, including RFP development, bid evaluations, and contractor coordination.\nProvide technical project oversight and apply knowledge of renewable energy systems, including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, and related energy infrastructure.\nCollaborate with construction teams and understand construction sequencing, constructability, and field coordination requirements.\nWhat You Will Need:\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or project delivery within the energy, infrastructure, or renewable energy industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience managing engineering design projects and/or energy infrastructure projects; experience with solar, BESS, or microgrids is preferred.\nExperience working in a consulting, utility, developer, or EPC environment is highly preferred.\nPMP certification is preferred but not required.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.\nKnowledge and Skills \nStrong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and risk management.\nTechnical understanding of renewable energy systems and infrastructure, including solar PV, BESS, microgrids, and grid interconnection.\nWorking knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, constructability, and coordination for infrastructure projects.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.\nAbility to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams.\nCompensation:\nSalary Range: $125,262 - $169,760 annually. \n\nThis salary range reflects the anticipated base salary for eight to twenty year of experience plus a PE license.
