Join us in building the digital energy infrastructure for the next century of power.\nThe role\nYou'll work directly alongside the founders and leadership team to build a new growth engine for Light: channel partnerships.\nAs Light expands across industries- from energy and electrification to mobility, real estate, and beyond- we increasingly see opportunities to grow not just one partner at a time, but through the companies and platforms that influence entire ecosystems. That could mean a hardware OEM, software platform, distributor, financier, industry association, marketplace, or another company we haven't identified yet.\nYour job is to figure out where those points of leverage exist and turn them into growth.\nYou'll identify the relationships that can materially accelerate Light, determine the right partnership model, and take them from idea through execution. Depending on the opportunity, that could mean a referral or affiliate program, integration or co-selling motion, sponsorship, licensing relationship, reseller program, strategic alliance, or something entirely new.\nThis is a highly entrepreneurial role at the intersection of strategy, business development, and ecosystem building. You'll have significant freedom to decide where Light should invest and where we shouldn't.\nIn your first six months, you will:\nMap and prioritize our highest-leverage channel opportunities across the industries we serve, identifying the companies and relationships that materially accelerate partner acquisition and growth.\n\nDesign the right commercial model for each relationship, whether referrals, affiliates, sponsorships, integrations, co-selling, licensing, reseller programs, strategic alliances, and other channel structures.\n\nSource, structure, negotiate, and close partnerships, from initial hypothesis through execution.\n\nBuild repeatable channel programs, turning one-off relationships into a scalable growth engine.\n\nDevelop influence across new ecosystems, building relationships with the companies and people that shape how their industries operate.\n\nPartner closely with Sales, Product, and Partner Success, bringing market insight back into Light and translating external opportunities into programs we can execute.\n\nYou would describe yourself as:\nChannel-fluent. You’ve built different programs and know which model fits each opportunity.\n\nCommercially creative. You design partnerships that work for both sides and get them closed.\n\nStrategic and discerning. You find leverage, prioritize ruthlessly, and know when to say no.\n\nEntrepreneurial. You thrive in ambiguity and build relationships and programs from scratch.\n\nOutcome-oriented.
