Join us, and you'll have the opportunity to influence the technology, engineering practices, and capabilities that will shape it for years to come.\nResponsibilities\nSuccess will be measured by how predictably your teams deliver against commitments, how much genuine ownership your Engineering Managers build over time, and by how consistently the NXT reference architecture becomes the standard your teams follow rather than interpret.\nOwn delivery commitments end-to-end, establishing a cadence where sprint and quarterly commitments are met with no surprises to Product or leadership.\nBuild a layer of Engineering Managers who operate with genuine ownership - clear expectations, consistent accountability, and strong coaching habits.\nDrive consistent adoption of the NXT reference architecture and embed security-by-design practices across your teams.\nOwn the operational health of your teams' systems, maintaining 99%+ uptime targets and reducing engineering-driven support ticket volume.\nBe a trusted cross-functional partner to Product, Architecture, CloudOps, InfoSec, and Professional Services.\nOwn delivery predictability, cycle time, quality metrics, and cloud cost efficiency, using data to drive action rather than just report it.\nQualifications\n10+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading Engineering Managers or senior ICs in a multi-team environment.\nA proven track record translating product and architectural strategy into reliable sprint delivery - you close loops, not just open them.\nHands-on delivery experience in enterprise SaaS or cloud platform modernization, ideally from legacy architecture to cloud-native.\nTechnical depth deep enough to challenge architectural decisions constructively - familiar with Azure, distributed systems, API-first design, and SDLC discipline.\nA coaching-first approach to management, building EM ownership rather than absorbing decisions upward, and addressing performance directly.\nThe ability to translate technical trade-offs into plain business language, bringing data before being asked.\nExperience in regulated industries or enterprise SaaS where reliability, compliance readiness, and customer trust are non-negotiable.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\nPreferred\nPrior experience leading through a legacy-to-cloud-native platform migration end-to-end.\nFamiliarity with FinOps practices for managing cloud cost at scale.\nExperience operating in a regulated or compliance-driven SaaS environment (SOC 2, FedRAMP).\nPowerPlan is an EOE\nApplicant and Candidate Privacy Notice\nPlease note that this is a hybrid role that involves a combination of onsite work from our corporate office as well as work from home.
