The Construction Manager will represent PowerSecure at the project site level, oversee all construction activities, be present for all equipment deliveries, manage subcontractors and internal resources, as well as interfacing with the customer, utility, and local AHJ’s.\nMinimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills)\n High School Diploma with 4+ years of experience in construction; energy industries preferred.\nKnowledge of construction management, financials, and construction\nExperience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, customers, Engineers, utilities, and AHJ’s.\nAbility to identify and manage priorities with urgency, while maintaining high quality and customer service.\nProficient with computer and proficient with standard office software and construction management software.\nProficient with the ability to read and interpret construction documents, product data submittals and site specifications.\nMust be punctual, organized, and professional.\nMust have excellent verbal and written communication Must be able to lead and conduct meetings in various formats.\nJob Duties and Responsibilities:\n Maintain safe and healthy work sites by following company standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements.\nCoordinate and administer daily safety briefs with contractors and company employees to ensure a safe working environment.\nCoordinate and lead project meetings with customer, utility, subcontractors, and/or other.\nFundamentally understand the financials of a project and able to create and issue Purchase Orders.\nEnsure project sites are always left in a tidy manner and follow housekeeping standards and procedures.\nProperly coordinate with respective parties for timely execution of project\nProperly communicate with Senior Staff to ensure each project is installed safely, timely, and on budget.\nPhysical Demands and Work Environment:\n Must be able to lift 50 pounds.\nMust be able to work in various positions including low to the ground or on a ladder.\nMust be able to stand or walk for 3-4 hours at a time\nTravel required (70%+), must be willing and able to drive company vehicle and/or fly commercially if necessary.\nEnvironment may consist of but not limited to the following: exposure to weather in varying climates, exposure to noise intensity levels, exposure to energized electrical equipment, exposure to overhead hazards (crane & rigging), and exposure to heavy\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this job.
