This is a hands-on role involving electronics design support, prototyping, troubleshooting, and product development.The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with hardware. Junior engineers will focus primarily on prototyping, testing, and documentation. In contrast, mid-level engineers will take on additional responsibilities, including electronics design, FMEA, supplier support, and mentoring junior team members.This position is full-time and onsite in Tallinn due to the hands-on nature of the work. Key Responsibilities\nElectronics Development & Testing\nAssemble, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, wiring, and PCB assemblies.\nConduct in-house PCB testing after assembly and perform diagnostics and measurements.\nParticipate in electronics design activities (mid-level: contribute more independently).\nDevelop and validate new hardware features and prototypes.\nPrototyping & Product Development\nBuild, refine, and document prototypes together with cross-functional teams.\nParticipate in component evaluation, laboratory testing, and performance verification.\nSupport troubleshooting, iterative design activities, and experimental builds.\nDocumentation & Certification Support\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation: assembly instructions, test reports, prototype notes, BOM updates, etc.\nContribute to CE/UL and other certification processes by providing technical input and test data.\nHelp maintain engineering standards and ensure documentation accuracy.\nCross-Team Collaboration & Project Support\nWork closely with electronics, mechanical, software, and system engineers.\nSupport consultants and assist with PCBA outsourcing and supplier-related tasks (e.g., production file preparation, BOM updates, alternative component sourcing).\nParticipate in and occasionally lead (mid-level) electronics-related projects.\nReliability & Quality Activities\nConduct or support FMEA analyses for existing and future electronics boards.\nHelp ensure compliance with internal standards and quality requirements.\nMaintain lab equipment, tools, and workspaces for safe and efficient operation.\nEssential Skills & Requirements\nFor Junior-Level\nBackground in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.\nPractical skills in soldering, wiring, hardware assembly, and working with lab tools.\nBasic understanding of electronic components, circuits, and measurement equipment.\nGood problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.\nFor Mid-Level\nCompleted bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field\nAt least 2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics development, testing, or PCB-related work.\nExperience with PCB design tools, prototype development, and electronics debugging.\nAbility to create or maintain documentation, test procedures, and BOMs.\nFamiliarity with CE/UL certification or quality/reliability processes (FMEA, verification testing).\nAbility to work independently on development tasks.\nFor All Candidates\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.\nGood written and spoken English for daily communication and documentation.\nReliable, organised, and comfortable working in a high-paced engineering environment.\nCreative problem solver, proactive and independent.\nAble to work onsite in Tallinn.\nWhat We Offer\nA unique opportunity to work on clean and sustainable energy technologies.\nHands-on, practical experience with real hardware and real products.\nMentorship from experienced engineers in electronics, mechanics, software and system development.\nA friendly and international working environment where growth and learning are encouraged.\nHow to Apply\nInterested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a short motivation letter below or email  highlight relevant work experience, projects, coursework, or hands-on experience.
