The position is based at the Head Office in Langata, Kenya, with travel as required.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide overall leadership and direction for business operations.\n\nSupport the development and implementation of business strategies and operational plans.\n\nOversee performance across business units and monitor progress against agreed objectives.\n\nCoordinate with department heads and managers to support effective day-to-day operations.\n\nMonitor financial and operational performance, including budgets, costs and revenue.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service delivery.\n\nSupport business expansion and the development of new commercial opportunities.\n\nEstablish clear performance expectations and follow up on progress.\n\nPromote accountability, collaboration and effective communication across teams.\n\nReview operational challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.\n\nEnsure that business activities follow applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.\n\nProvide management with regular updates on performance, risks and business priorities.\n\nBuild and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders.\n\nTravel as required to support operations and business objectives.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field.\n\nA Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.\n\nApproximately 10-15 or more years of relevant experience in general management or senior operational leadership.\n\nExperience overseeing multi-site or multi-channel operations.\n\nDemonstrated experience managing business performance and operational resources.\n\nExperience working with budgets, financial performance and business planning.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.\n\nAbility to coordinate teams, manage competing priorities and support organizational objectives.\n\nWillingness to travel as required.\n\nSkills and Competencies\nThe role requires a strategic and commercially aware leader who can translate business objectives into operational plans. The successful candidate should be able to work across functions, communicate expectations clearly and monitor performance against agreed targets.\nStrong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills are important, alongside the ability to identify operational challenges and coordinate practical solutions.
