The role requires practical experience in construction materials testing, a strong understanding of concrete testing procedures, and the ability to interpret test results accurately.\nCandidates should have a relevant diploma and at least two years of experience working in a private construction materials testing laboratory or a ready-mix concrete company.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Concrete Sampling and Testing\nConduct concrete sampling, cube moulding, curing, and compressive strength (crushing) tests.\nPrepare, label, handle, and store concrete samples according to established testing procedures.\nPerform routine concrete quality tests and ensure accuracy throughout the testing process.\nOperate laboratory testing equipment safely and correctly.\nInterpret test results and identify deviations from applicable quality requirements.\n2. Quality Control and Assurance\nMonitor concrete quality during production and delivery.\nVerify that concrete test results meet applicable quality standards and specifications.\nSupport quality control procedures relating to concrete mix designs and construction materials.\nIdentify inconsistencies in test results and report quality concerns to the relevant personnel.\nFollow established laboratory procedures to maintain reliable and consistent test outcomes.\n3. Laboratory Reporting and Documentation\nPrepare laboratory reports detailing test procedures, results, and findings.\nMaintain accurate records of samples, test results, and laboratory activities.\nEnsure testing documentation is properly organised and readily accessible.\nCommunicate test findings and quality concerns to relevant technical personnel.\nMaintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling laboratory records.\n4.
