This role involves managing company their departments, local P&L statement and KPIs, developing and implementing strategic initiatives that align with company objectives, and leading field operations teams. This position will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nSupervises the Field Service Manager, Project Scheduler, Project Coordinator, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Billing Specialist.\nManages the department's financial budget, merit, and reviews.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nLeadership and Team Management\nLead and develop a high-performing operations team.\nProvide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for team members.\nOperational Planning and Execution\nDevelop best practices and strategic initiatives for future growth.\nOversee the implementation and execution of plans from start to finish, including schedules, resource allocation, and workflow management.\nEnsure timely and efficient project completion.\nQuality Assurance and Compliance\nMaintain and enforce quality standards and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.\nManage department fleet and test equipment needs and condition.\nBudget and Financial Management\nManage operational budgets and control costs.\nMonitor financial performance and make data-driven decisions to achieve targets.\nMonitor equipment rental costs and develop CAPEX requests.\nManage billing, local P&L, and change orders.\nProcess Improvement\nWork with teams to achieve initiatives and improve quality and efficiency.\nResolve issues promptly and implement process improvements.\nMonitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nSafety Management\nPromote a culture of safety and develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.\nCollaborate with safety managers to address safety incidents promptly and implement preventive measures.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and standards.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks as required to support the organization's goals and adapt to evolving business needs.\nAttributes/Abilities:\nMust have a satisfactory background/MVR check.\nMust pass a pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and/or random drug test.\nStrong leadership and team-building skills.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nKnowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.\nExperience and Education:\nAssociate’s degree required or,\n5-7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the electrical engineering industry.\nDetailed knowledge of work being performed in the field.\nPhysical Requirements:\nRegular travel to project sites required.\nFlexibility and availability to work beyond regular business hours.\nPOWERX is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.\nActual pay depends on factors such as work location and market, skills, education, experience, and other job-related qualifications.
