This role demands in-depth expertise in ADP payroll systems, a comprehensive knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and tax laws, and familiarity with organizational policies. This position collaborates closely with Human Resources, Finance, and management to optimize payroll operations and contribute to employee satisfaction.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nDirectly supervises the Payroll Specialist.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nPayroll Processing and Management\nOversee the end-to-end payroll process using ADP systems, including data input, auditing, and final submission.\nEnsure timely and accurate payroll for all employees, including salaried, hourly, and overtime calculations.\nMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including tax withholding, garnishments, and reporting requirements.\nSystem Administration and Optimization\nManage and optimize ADP payroll system, ensuring accuracy and integration with other HR and finance systems.\nTrain and support employees on ADP functionalities.\nIdentify and implement system enhancements or upgrades to improve payroll efficiency.\nCompliance and Reporting\nPrepare and review payroll tax filings and other compliance-related documents.\nRespond to audits or inquiries related to payroll operations.\nGenerate reports for finance, HR, and management regarding payroll metrics and trends.\nTeam Collaboration and Employee Support\nPartner with HR to align payroll processes with organizational policies and benefits programs.\nServe as the primary point of contact for payroll-related employee inquiries, providing timely resolution.\nCollaborate with the finance team on reconciliations, budget forecasting, and cash flow planning.\nProcess Improvement\nDevelop and document payroll policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.\nProactively identify areas for improvement and lead initiatives to enhance payroll accuracy and efficiency.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks as required to support the organization's goals and adapt to evolving business needs.\nAttributes/Abilities:\nMust have a satisfactory background and credit check.\nClear communication skills to explain complex payroll matters to employees and other stakeholders.\nProblem-Solving, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address discrepancies or errors in payroll.\nCustomer service orientation, ability to address employee concerns and questions with professionalism and empathy.\nAttention to detail, high level of accuracy in processing data and preparing reports.\nConfidentiality and integrity;
